14/06/2024: Small place located on Viale Strozzi, a stone's throw from the Strozzi-Fallaci tram stop. Few tables inside, if I'm not mistaken there are two tables, maximum three. Excellent croissants and sweet products for breakfast. Average Florentine coffee. Homemade ice cream present. Helpful and courteous staff. Prices average for the city. Parking spaces outside as if they weren't there.

09/06/2024: Delicious ice cream, shame about the opening hours and days which seem a bit reduced especially in summer. Today, Sunday 9/06, I returned in the afternoon and although it says open on Google, it is actually closed. I think it's the only ice cream shop closed in summer in Florence

18/06/2024: Siamo stati ospiti dell'agriturismo la Selva di Frena per un weekend rilassante in compagnia del nostro cane. Il posto e' immerso nella tranquillità e i proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa.

08/06/2024: Ieri sera aperitivo e cena di alto livello. Piatti eccellenti frutto di accurato studio. Valore aggiunto l'empatia irresistibile delle ragazze che accuddiscono gli ospiti: Federica, Virginia e Benedetta. Bellissima la voce e l'intonazione della cantante, con un repertorio di canzoni immortali. Balena gialla è per me e mia moglie un luogo del cuore. Abbiamo bisogno di tornarci, di tanto in tanto. Complimenti allo chef/boss Luca.

27/07/2024: Nice place, friendly and welcoming staff. We are on holiday in Florence and 15 people ordered some pizzas and some first courses, some seafood. I personally tried the squid and prawn couscous 🍤 VERY GOOD, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

28/08/2024: I didn't like the experience overall! Normal food but truly embarrassing service! Unfortunately with those prices I expect at least a little attention to the customer and not a bar atmosphere!

21/07/2024: Excellent pastries, but the 10 out of 10 novelty is the Schiacciata! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, an incredible leavening! Absolutely worth the stop, one of the best I've ever tasted!

22/06/2024: Sono ormai anni che quando siamo a Gambassi, quotidianamente andiamo a fare colazione e prendere il pane e la schiacciata, prodotti sempre freschi e buoni , buona la pasticceria e ottimo il caffè Laura è una persona gentile e molto empatica ,carina e disponibile un esempio quest' anno si è informata quando saremo arrivati e ci ha messo da parte il pane che a noi piace tanto , e tutte le mattine ha tolto per la mia nipotina la ciambella che le piace tanto.... Brava Laura e bravo il burresi che fa un pane buonissimo.

07/05/2024: A peikarnia and confectionery shop in one - you can also buy meat specialties from the region. There is quite a small selection of bread. But rolls and croissants - eh... wonderful. Best with pistachio cream or chocolate and vanilla! Perfect for coffee. There is parking. There is a terrace. Coffee is served on site. I recommend
