23/05/2025: Locale alla vecchia maniera, casalingo e accogliente. Il menù è ovviamente tipicamente toscano e ma da vegetariana sono riuscita comunque a scegliere. La qualità è eccellente, le porzioni giuste. Antipasti a 8€ primi sui 15€ e secondi sui 18€. Rapporto qualita prezzo eccellente!!!

19/05/2025: Ho mangiato da sola in questo ristorante storico. AMBIENTE:Il locale è molto bello, che sa di antico. Due salette, tavoli spartani con tovagliette e personale gentissimo. CIBO:Non ho mangiato molto perché la loro proposta è diversa da quello che volevo io per cena. Oltre ai piatti nel menù c'erano anche piatti del giorno come il collo di anatra ripieno e le fave fresche con il pecorino. RAPPORTO QUALITA'/PREZZO: essendo in centro città mi sembra un costo ragionevole e non eccessivo Bellissimo locale e ottima la loro zuppa tipo ribollita

22/10/2025: We thought it could be a very local option, which it is indeed, and it could be a little challenging to communicate and we couldn’t be more wrong. The pastries surpassed all our expectations, but the service itself was the star of the show! Can’t recommend it enough! Go!

26/08/2025: Very good quality and quantity. We had the set menu and I had the à la carte. The dessert, a chocolate volcano, was delicious. Perfect service.

17/04/2025: I used to go to a place about 8 years ago. The food was good, it was expensive, but it was worth it. Now, however, I'm very disappointed. The entrance was very gloomy, the tables were set very "basic." For an appetizer, I ordered chickpea hummus with steamed shrimp. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't hummus, it was just pureed chickpeas. The only downside was the presentation. The shrimp were mixed with the cream and it looked unappealing. For a starter, I ordered macaroni with pistachio pesto, squid, and clams. They delivered gigli pasta with unblended pesto oil, cheap clams, and flavorless squid. The pasta was obviously pre-cooked and reheated. I refused to eat it, it was horrible. They justified themselves by blaming it on the pasta they get from another pasta shop, and I don't know, but I prefer to remain in doubt. He says that by now they have put macaroni and now even if they are lilies they have decided to leave macaroni... well... let's move on to the second course... cod in a crust with poppy seeds and mashed potatoes. I received 3 fillets without a crust but with poppy seeds. They were full of bones, hard and salty, they had not been soaked enough. A dish that overall could have been saved but the chef decided to sacrifice it too.. side dish of fried artichokes and they are also in season and instead no, frozen artichoke hearts with a poor batter were hard and tasteless. I left half the cod and artichokes.. dessert chocolate volcano, it could have been better but let's save it.. my husband ate everything very uncomfortably, he doesn't like to leave things on the plate but the octopus with artichokes was missing the lemon in fact they turned black, the spaghetti were hard, the frozen tuna also the artichokes and then we come to his dessert... the tiramisu... if I order a tiramisu I expect a Tiramisu with ladyfingers dipped in coffee and covered in mascarpone cream made with fresh eggs. Instead, a plate arrived with a cup of coffee, 5 pavesini biscuits on the side, and a small bowl of cream and cocoa. Prices halved compared to years ago, so the quality is no longer there. Everything tastes silly, without salt. A big mistake, because a chef must taste, he must know what he's putting on the table. They were honest because they didn't charge for my first course, but I didn't send them back the rest just out of politeness. I will never return. We didn't even like the coffee. The only thing that saved the whole dinner was the wine, a Borgheri Vermentino, because luckily the chef didn't touch it.

19/08/2025: Every time I go to this ice cream shop, my day improves. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly, and the ice cream flavors are excellent (and so are the music).

31/07/2025: Cibo eccellente! Pizza davvero buona, ingredienti di altissima qualità. Personale assolutamente adorabile. Molto generosi nell’accoglienza. OTTIMO rapporto qualità prezzo. Venendo da Milano dove gli standard sono alti e anche i prezzi, abbiamo apprezzato enormemente tutto!

31/07/2025: Super experiencia! Pizza muy buena, buen ambiente, precio y calidad justos ( bien expuestos y sin sorpresas) personal muy gentil, en especial el dueño, una persona muy amable y atento. Seguramente regresaremos!

24/10/2025: They are number 1!! I've been to several Brazilian restaurants around Italy but so far none at the level of Rio Grande in Florence. I've been there about twenty times and every time I've had a great time. For about 35 euros you can eat all you want. Very rich buffet!!! Of everything and more!! Fejoada, fried bananas, fried plantains, rice with raisins, the fantastic caramelized pumpkin, Russian salad, cheese sandwiches and many other things. Then the flag is raised and they start bringing out many cuts of meat with the famous picanha. Top drinks. Their capirinhas are exceptional. Also strong so be careful not to overdo it😅. The whole show is completed with dancers and a show with bolas. In short, a spectacle.

12/08/2025: We had an absolutely incredible dining experience here! Every single dish was bursting with freshness and you could truly taste the love and care that went into preparing it. We enjoyed every single plate we ordered and each one felt like a little work of art. The owner is such a warm and kind-hearted woman, and it was inspiring to see her running the entire restaurant all by herself while still serving the most delicious food. Her passion and dedication shine through in every bite. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we only managed to take one single photo before diving into the rest, that’s how good it was! An absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back! Grazie mille for the wonderful evening.

28/09/2025: A rotisserie located in southern Florence, a stone's throw from Piazza Gavinana and Piazza Ravenna, open on Sundays until 2 pm. Like other rotisserie shops in Florence, this one is a bit pricey. Prices are higher than those at the Coop deli. They sell a variety of dishes, including pasta dishes, vegetables, and meat (the spit-roasted chicken is delicious). They also have a wide range of side dishes, including ready-made focaccia or focaccia to be stuffed. They also offer focaccia with grapes. For a portion of lasagna and a bottle of still water, I paid €6.50 (for pasta dishes, €18 per kg, for example). Parking is available on the street, in nearby streets, and in adjacent areas. The staff is a bit slow, but they are courteous and helpful.
