18/11/2025: Since I came to Florence to study, I've eaten a lot of lampredotti, but this is truly among the best. Very tasty, well-made, and with a truly special green sauce—a very intense flavor.
The staff is also friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!
18/11/2025: Honestly was skeptical to try this - I heard it was a part of the stomach of the cow and never had I tried that part of the animal before! But it’s a Florence staple so we gave it a shot. It’s definitely an acquired taste - depending on how the meat is flavored it tastes a lot like lamb. The bread is also dipped in the drippings which actually tasted good. If it is your first time, I recommend sharing one sandwich to see how you like it before committing to the whole thing. This place specifically was kind enough to let us try a piece of the meat first before we bought the sandwich - he said he stewed it for 18 hours before it was ready to cook! Definitely worth a try but wouldn’t get it again probably.

24/11/2025: Hands down the worst meal I’ve had in Italy in all my life. Portions were tiny, overpriced, tasteless with the exception of the grilled sole which was decent but tiny. All other dishes were terrible. This is worse than a tourist trap in the quieter neighborhood of San Marco where I’ve been living for the past 2 years. Always walked by this restaurant but it never enticed me to try it since it’s always empty, and now I know why. Steer clear of this place at all costs. There’s nothing worse than paying for an overpriced meal, plus leaving hungry

The waiter was very polite and offered recommendations.
The food was soooo good, I wanted to come back the next day but didn’t have time:(
One day I’ll be back to try the tortellini al ragu!

20/10/2025: I'm not used to giving one star. I always look for an explanation or justification because everyone works and not all days are the same. But waiting two hours for a pizza with four small children at the table is truly incredible. Not a single explanation was given to our questions. It felt like we'd wronged them by eating there. I've rarely found myself in such an unpleasant situation out for dinner. I hope it was a bad night, but I wouldn't even go back as a guest.

22/11/2025: DON'T ASK FOR FAVORS: Despite having eaten here many times, the staff has never shown any kindness. We weren't even offered a fork despite asking to pay for it. Furthermore, despite the -3°C temperature outside, we were asked to go outside to eat a sandwich we'd brought from home, even though we'd ordered two from the restaurant (not counting all the ones we'd previously ordered). We rate the food as decent and the pastries good, but the service is SERIOUSLY INSUFFICIENT, especially in the manner in which the staff address us. It's a shame because some of them are actually very polite.
30/08/2025: Unfortunately, they don't know how to cook pastries properly, they're always soggy. I had a rice pudding and the rice was practically raw inside. The coffee isn't bad, but there are better.

Recommended for value. I only had pizza, so I can't comment on anything else, but I recommend it.

08/12/2025: A lovely trattoria, a place with an interesting historical appeal. The menu is well-constructed, with limited but carefully selected choices. We ordered a flan of the day as an appetizer, which was a bit bland and lacked any real punch. For the main course, a sirloin steak with red fruits and a stuffed rabbit. The rabbit was very salty and a bit dry, and the side dish was beans that needed more soaking. Overall, the place is lovely and welcoming, and I would return, but these small touches could be improved. Fair prices.
22/11/2025: Deep fried low quality cuts. Very dry. Staff rolled their eyes when I asked for a side of any condiment to counteract the dryness of the fried veal. Frog legs were also horrible.
