Our second time to Florence but we wish we had known about this place on our first!!! Food was delicious AND very reasonably priced, service was fabulous even though there was a language barrier and the croissants were top tier.

Ristorante Pizzeria Capannuccia

20/04/2026: Found by chance, searched on Google. The atmosphere is truly simple, the kind where you immediately feel at ease. Mrs. Anna is a treasure: useless and renowned Michelin-starred chefs should train with her. Kind, affable, you feel like you've always been coming here! The dishes...abundant and delicious. The handwritten menu of the day, with a nice oil stain from who knows what table...it makes you feel so at home! Thank you, thank you so much.... It's been thirty years since I've been back here and it seems like yesterday.
14/04/2026: While passing through the area, we stumbled upon this restaurant. And it was a fantastic experience: the pizzas are excellent, with unbeatable value for money. The atmosphere is friendly (like a village restaurant) and the staff are incredibly kind, despite the language barrier.

18/01/2026: Positive impressions. Nice place, very crowded, perhaps because of the weekend; the staff is efficient and courteous; the food is beautifully presented and frankly delicious, from appetizers to first courses, pizzas, and dessert. The prices are truly affordable! And above all, the menu includes traditional Tuscan dishes like mutton stew, which I don't particularly enjoy, but which I appreciate as a way of respecting our regional identity.
