31/10/2025: Very welcoming and clean hotel, the girl at the reception was very kind and helpful (as well as very nice, which never hurts), everything is digital, door opening and closing, small but basic and very clean room. Immersed in the woods, with an adjoining lake, a truly beautiful location. The only sore point, aside from the weather, was the breakfast, which is a risk to call it such... could be improved.

He didn’t feel like serving, and on top of that, when he brought the beers, he came with the card machine as if we were going to rush. I spoke to him in Spanish and he responded with a nasty face, I spoke in Italian and he corrected my Italian in a rude way, and even when he expressed himself, he did it poorly in Italian. So overall, it was such a strange and awkward experience. (The guy wasn’t the one with the mustache nor the youngest one— the middle one, with a bit of unshaven beard from a day.) It’s a shame you have people like this working there.

09/11/2025: A historic Chinese deli in the Gavinana area, "Cuore d'Oro" remains a reliable choice for those who want to eat well, spend little, and save time. The restaurant is small but modern, with fast and friendly staff. The menu is extensive—from classic rice noodles to chicken, beef, or tofu dishes—all freshly prepared and served hot. Portions are a bit smaller today than a few years ago (a sign of the times...), but they're still more than fair for the price. Parking in the area is a bit tricky, though sometimes there are double-parked cars. Excellent for takeout, less so for dining in (limited seating). My rice noodles with vegetables were flavorful and well-sauced, perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dinner. Overall, a reliable stop for those who love no-frills Chinese cuisine.

28/10/2025: Caminia deserves it because it's in the Gavinana neighborhood (or enjoy it if you live here). The flavor of these ice creams is truly delicate, not too sugary, and some flavors are so creative! Tale: Ettore: White chocolate and puffed rice Settimo gelo (rice cooked in milk with sugar, almonds, citron, and amaretto) Festina lente: milk, eggs, cream, ginger root, and candied citrus fruits. My favorite flavor, when available, is pine nuts.

25/10/2025: Absolutely amazing desserts! Everything here is delicious, especially their signature molten cake — incredibly soft, rich in creamy flavor, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The texture just melts in your mouth! The taro milk is also a must-try — smooth, fragrant, and naturally sweet with real taro flavor. Every bite and sip feels like happiness. Highly recommended — definitely one of the best dessert spots I’ve ever visited!
