We have eaten at the Trattoria Nerone on several occasions while visiting Florence. Our waitress, Bianca is very personable, welcoming and humorous. We keep coming back for the amazing food and service! ♥️♥️♥️

The food was tasty and affordable. However, I lost my appetite before I even ordered because the skinny male server had a bad attitude and was very rude. He was impatient and unwilling to explain anything on the menu. Completely killed our vibe. I'm surprised he is still employed at this restaurant or even in the service industry at all. I mean you literally work in a touristy area. What do you expect? That people aren't going to ask you any questions? Thankfully, the other server was the opposite and apologized for his behavior then proceed to give us excellent service. She deserves a raise while the other deserves to be fired.

On a Sunday at 3 PM, two pizzas (Prosciutto Crudo and Capricciosa), one glass of beer, and one glass of Coca-Cola came to a total of €38. The restaurant looks nice inside, and the pizzas looked good as well. However, both pizzas had a very dry, hard, and slightly burnt crust, which was disappointing (for me)...
I would give a 6/10 for the owner's friendliness and hospitality, but I wouldn't come back.

The best pasta carbonara in Italy. The best Tuscan food you must try. We spent two days in Florence, and both days we ate at this place again. It's not too expensive, and you can enjoy wonderful dishes.
I definitely also recommend the veal peposo. 🥰🫶

A really great restaurant, no rip-offs. They do mention the table charge (if you don't order food), but it's a fair €1.50. Very fair prices, away from the tourist traps.

I discovered Renzo Zani by chance while eating gelato at the ice cream shop across the street. I went for lunch with a friend today. The atmosphere was wonderful, and we decided to sit outside. The waiter was fantastic, very friendly, and the appetizers and fried fish were delicious. The vegetables and meat were all delicious. We'll definitely be back. The price was excellent for the quality of the food.
We returned in the winter and ate inside. The place is wonderful, the service impeccable... I highly recommend it.
We'll be back tomorrow and eating outside again. I can't wait.

We had the Tagliatelle with Black truffle cream, Tripe Florentine style, and Lasagna. Dark chocolate cake was very good too.
