Beautiful location, with professional and helpful staff, excellent aperitif

A stone’s throw from the famous Grotta Giusti (where we are staying), is this unassuming cafe with the best reviews I’ve ever seen, and for good reason. Not only did we get one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy, it was also one of the cheapest, and the gorgeous Italians at the next table gave us a full itinerary of excursions to do during our 5 days in the Tuscan countryside. We were probably the only diners who were not local, which just made it better. Everyone knew each other, the Italians were loud and it just added to the atmosphere. Everything we ate was fantastic and fresh - don’t skip this place!!

Ottimo per pranzi di lavoro con piatti espressi, semplici e genuini ma saporiti! Selezione ampia e particolare di vini (anche al calice). Ambiente piacevole.

The food is fantastic and the staff/owners are even more lovely! surprisingly large menu and we asked for clams (not listed on tonight’s menu) they said “Yes, we can do that” and it was fresh, balanced flavors - excellent. The scallopini was yummy! Don’t miss this unassuming, sweet little powerhouse of a restaurant - we loved them and their food—a 6 out 5 all day long.
