A highly respectable restaurant. I've been there more than once and it has never diminished, demonstrating excellent product quality every time. Acceptable value for money. Excellent quality, but perhaps a little high in price and not accessible to everyone.

We spent a pleasant evening at this restaurant. The homemade pasta dishes were excellent, and the tender, flavorful cuts of meat were delicious. The staff were friendly, and the quality/price ratio was good.

A quiet setting in a former farmhouse. Alessandro is an excellent chef. The cuisine is purely Tuscan, with excellent dishes and meticulous service. Prices are affordable, so reservations are required to secure a table. Definitely worth a try. R.N

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of lunch at Alessandro's restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, especially the mixed grill. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service excellent. I'd love to return in the summer to eat outside among the vines.

We went to eat there on a Saturday evening, and I have to say the surrounding landscape is truly beautiful and evocative, the staff are truly kind and polite, the food is sublime (and I'm very fed up with eating considering I've been in the restaurant business for 17 years) from the starter to the dessert and especially the coffee "which is not a given knowing how to make, believe me" we will definitely be back to try other delicacies

We showed up without a reservation and they very kindly seated us in a room all to ourselves. No wait, everything was excellent, even for those who can't eat gluten! The food is Tuscan, of course, so meat, but there was also the option of fish or vegetarian options.

21/12/2025: A simple but clean and welcoming place. Excellent service. The tuna, egg, and mayo sandwich in its soft bread is sublime. And don't even get me started on the pastries and viennoiseries... The puff pastry of the turnovers is perfectly crisp and beautifully caramelized. The brioche croissant is worthy of the finest French brioches. Don't hesitate to make the detour if you're nearby or on the highway; it's well worth it. I did, and I don't regret it.
20/11/2025: A fantastic little village restaurant, exactly as it should be, where you feel free to pop in even for a glass of water. The display case is stocked with savory delicacies and excellent pizza by the slice. A kind and courteous lady at the counter. Plenty of seats and tables available, convenient parking. Excellent!!

Camping Il Pinguino

15/01/2026: A truly unique place, with friendly and attentive staff. Authentic food. Top quality.
06/01/2026: We stayed three nights at Camping Il Pinguino in our campervan to visit the slopes of Abetone and Val di Luce. The owner, Umberto, is incredibly thoughtful and kind. He made himself available even before our departure. He provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to the campsite and even met us, alerting the nearby pizzeria of our late arrival. The restrooms are spotless, the showers are hot, and the bathroom is heated. It's a quiet place and perfectly located for reaching the slopes by car. It's located 800 meters from a hotel/restaurant/bar/grocery store where we had breakfast, a packed lunch, and a very decent dinner. The restaurant/pizzeria on the road above the campsite also offers a satisfying dinner with excellent service and good wine at very reasonable prices. In short, we couldn't have asked for more.
