23/08/2025: I highly recommend this place. A delicious appetizer with a warm ciaccia followed by a very thin Margherita. Everything was delicious, and the service and bill were excellent.

22/08/2025: Food is gorgeous, we shared the Gnocci and was perfect size, so creamy it was beautiful. The steak was cooked perfect rare/medium rare very juicy and full of flavour however would of liked some sauce to go with it. Also would been nice to have some background music. However overall was a lovely evening with some fantastic food.

04/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during the month of August, the atmosphere was there and the waitress was quite friendly but the same cannot be said for the food. The waitress realizing that we did not speak Italian changed the menu because she would know she was "wrong" and gave us another one with prices much higher than the previous one. Once served, the value for money was not there, I was served in a mini bowl with three potatoes and a few pieces of pulp. It was a rather disappointing experience. Paying around thirty euros to have two or three shavings of seafood on your plate, indecent.

25/08/2025: The three of us had dinner on the evening of Thursday, August 21st (it was stormy outside). A lovely, intimate restaurant in the lower part of Portoferraio (right by the port) with well-appointed decor. We ordered different dishes, and the meat in all of them was top-quality (I specifically ordered the Sienese beef asado, and I dare say it's the best meat I've ever eaten), and the food was beautifully presented. Excellent service, with very friendly waiters and owners. I mentioned that I'm celiac, and they even brought me gluten-free bread separately (I appreciated that it was still sealed). The restaurant was quite busy, so I recommend booking in advance, as we did. The quality/price ratio was more than fair. The owner was very kind and, given the weather, suggested we wait for a slight rain shower to stop before going to the car (it was almost midnight, everyone was leaving and they were closing up shop). She also advised us on the best route back to the hotel without passing through the lower part of Portoferraio, which floods easily (these were the days of the orange alert, and just the days before, there had been several floods and closures). The only thing I'd like to point out: they have a beautiful dog inside the restaurant who stays tied up near the kitchen and is very calm and sociable (except that night when it thundered, she barked, and that's fine, poor thing). I don't know if it was just for that night or not. I'm mentioning it anyway, because someone might be afraid of her, but just ask to be in the other room.

23/08/2025: Truly excellent charcuterie platter, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The meat was a pleasant surprise: tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. I really don't understand the negative reviews; I had a great time and will definitely be back!

02/09/2025: Super central location on the Viareggio pier. Four of us went for lunch on a Sunday without a reservation, and they seated us after a very short wait of 10-15 minutes. Fast and intuitive self-service, generous portions, excellent ingredients, and fair prices. The only downside is the €3.50 focaccia. We'll be back.

30/08/2025: A very nice Irish-style pub with good beers, sandwiches, and chips. Frequented by a laid-back crowd. Welcoming place. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it for a different kind of evening for those visiting Porto di Recanati for a vacation instead of always eating at a restaurant or pizzeria.

25/08/2025: The only positive note: the place is nicely decorated and charming. Otherwise, a negative experience: despite booking in advance, the service was very slow, with about an hour's wait between ordering and the food arriving. The food was poor quality, and the atmosphere was very noisy and uncomfortable. Considering we were on vacation, it was truly disappointing.

05/07/2025: We came to Siena to explore, staying at San Roco a Pilli. A Google Maps search brought up this restaurant. We tried it and it was right 😀. The value for money was excellent. The food was delicious! The staff was super friendly.

20/06/2025: Este lugar es un excelente bar de vinos con vistas al palacio pitti, pero es mucho más que un bar de vinos. También hace comida excepcional. El menú degustación clásico con maridaje de vinos que conseguimos fue uno de los más excepcionales de la comida y vino que conseguimos en Florencia, y fue de solo 60 euros por persona. Primero vino un pequeño apaletador pre plato del paté de hígado de pollo más suave y untuoso que puedas imaginar con una salsa dulce ácida que cortó la riqueza. Luego había una deliciosa pechuga de pollo en rodajas con espárragos afeitados y una mora mayonesa fresca. Luego estaban los ravioles llenos de tripas, un giro juguetón en la tripa tradicional comida por los florentinos. Esto fue solo ligeramente Offaly, con una tierra naturalmente dulce complementada por el pesto. Por último, pero no menos importante, la tabla de queso más excepcional que he experimentado (y soy un conocedor del queso). ¿Cuántos restaurantes tienen la confianza de poner tres pedazos de queso en un plato y adornarlo con una gelatina de pera casera y detenerse en eso? Excepcional. Y sé menos de vino, pero sí sé que el vino complementaba perfectamente la comida, y el camarero nos habló del origen de cada uno de los vinos. Sobresaliente. Nos encantó. Ve a este lugar.

28/05/2025: Una experiencia fabulosa. Teníamos los vuelos de vino blanco y los platos de queso y prosciutto. Fue una experiencia muy especial. Muy recomendable si te gusta el vino. El queso y el prosciutto era excelente. Nos sentamos afuera y vimos el mundo pasar. El camarero estaba muy bien informado sobre los vinos y el servicio era excelente.
