The lady and staff are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home. The food is excellent, freshly made with quality, fresh ingredients. The place is fresh and very charming, reminiscent of an old stable!

This inn is a gem. We had a truly wonderful time, thanks to Paola and Andrea's hospitality, the service of the young girl who served us, and the homey, rustic atmosphere, all in the old-fashioned way, but with that wonderful way that makes you feel at home with friends. Paola was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked, accommodating every request as only someone who knows how to work impeccably can, always with a smile and kindness. The antipasto was superb, with delicious cured meats (I'm usually not a fan of finocchiona, but it was truly delicious), crostini (the zucchini blossom pesto was a real discovery for my palate), vegetables in oil, plum jam, and top-notch goat and sheep cheeses, even for those with intolerances—delicious. Then delicious tagliatelle with lamb stew and fabulous pici with cream cheese and their own saffron. I've never had pici so tasty, creamy, and soft, making every bite so mouthwatering. For our second course, we had chicken with gorgonzola, which was amazing, and simple beef meatballs that reminded me of home. Roast potatoes and crunchy vegetables with dried fruit—everything was delicious. For dessert, a millefeuille with chocolate mousse—amazing, light, and most importantly, homemade. Paola, with such kindness and care, even put candles on top because it was my birthday. At the end, they offered us "amaro"—I don't know if I should call it that because it was actually an artichoke liqueur and a violet liqueur, which to call good is an understatement, sweet, and very unique. Each dish is explained with passion, and there's a homey, friendly atmosphere. The place is beautiful, with a lovely garden outside (though it was evening, and it's definitely more enjoyable during the day), and as I mentioned at the beginning, we had a truly wonderful time. And let's not forget Eva, a sweet dog who occasionally pops in between the tables, as if checking to make sure everything is in order, looking for a cuddle. If you happen to be in the Massa area, it's definitely one of those places that stays in your heart, also because it's authentic, in every way. The menu changes every week because the ingredients are always fresh, but in my experience, Paola is super willing to accommodate everyone's needs and tastes. The price is more than fair, and definitely worth every penny. Thank you, Paola and Andrea, truly, you made a birthday dinner a truly special moment!
