Chef Marco and his team made one of the best meals my girlfriend and I have had in recent memory. Sometimes Michelin stars are disappointment and overhyped, but I have to say this place was warm, inviting, and felt approachable and cozy right away. The service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the wine went with everything. Definitely go here when you visit Florence.

My wife and I dined here during an anniversary trip to Florence. We both selected the chef’s recommended 5-course mostly fish menu and enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives. Each dish was artfully presented and tasted amazing. Everything about the meal was carefully curated from the intimate and comfortable space, the custom made bowl that mirrored the ceiling design, the Billie Holiday vocals whispering softly in the background, the automatic glass door separating the kitchen from the dining area, and, of course, the.delicious food. Our waiter Giuseppe was a delight and recommended a wonderful wine that nicely complemented the meal. It was a perfect evening.

We had such a great experience at Ora d’Aria. We chose this place to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. We went with the fish tasting menu, and every dish that came out was not only beautifully presented but also genuinely delicious. Each course had its own distinct flavor—from the tiger prawns and artichoke to the lobster tagliolini and roasted calamaro—and nothing felt repetitive. The affogato at the end was a perfect way to finish the meal. What really stood out was how the food actually tasted compared to how it looks. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. Every bite had so much depth and balance—it’s the kind of flavor that lingers and stays with you, almost like creating a lasting memory rather than just a meal. We also really appreciated the timing between each course. It was just right—not too slow and not rushed at all—so we could truly enjoy and talk about each dish before the next one arrived. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. The restaurant itself is smaller than a typical place, but that’s part of its charm. It felt elegant, cozy, and private—perfect for an intimate celebration like ours. A special mention to our waiter, Giuseppe—he was very respectful, attentive, and made sure we were having a great time throughout the evening. His service really added to the overall experience. Overall, it felt like a truly memorable night where everything—from the food to the ambiance to the service—came together perfectly.
