17/10/2025: If you're craving a real pizza, this is the place to be. At Santarpia, you only get pizza—there's no restaurant—but you always leave satisfied. Unfortunately, despite all the awards it's received for its quality, the place is always crowded and noisy. Sometimes, even if you want to talk to your neighbor, you have to shout to be heard. The staff is qualified. The prices are reasonable. Parking is easy to find in the area. It's always best to reserve a spot.

The menu is varied, and they do a great job researching even the most traditional dishes, and it's a pleasure to try something new every time. 23/09/2025: Dinner was amongst the best and most memorable. Modest appointment in a beautiful setting, excellent service, and food quality absolutely serious fabulous….reasonably priced. I do not say what I had, because all three dishes being of such high quality is most meaningful.

21/09/2025: Went here since we felt like having a truffle lunch, this place absolutely didn’t disappoint. Lovely Italian restaurant, chef came to the table himself to ask if everything was okay. Service was super friendly, food was amazing. Every dish we saw passing looked tasty and the amount of truffle added to our pasta carbonara was way more than we dared to hope for. Absolutely recommend!

14/09/2025: A superb restaurant in the historic center of Grosseto. Finally, you can eat fish here. The highest quality goes perfectly with the service and location. Kudos also to the bathroom, which is not only beautiful but also clean, which, unfortunately, isn't a given. Many compliments indeed 👏.

09/10/2025: Everything was very good. There was fresh truffle! What are you doing, eating fish?? Both! Shrimp and truffle tartare was a 10. Tagliolini with truffle was excellent. The fried porcini mushrooms were not to be reproached, too much batter and not at all flavorful.

05/11/2025: I have to say the food was good, even if a bit pricey for the quantity served (just consider that the fish, sold at €7 per 100 grams, was the flat rate for the sliced ​​steak, which was probably not even served whole). But, I repeat, everything tasted very good, the only reason for two stars instead of one (no, the friendly waiter also contributed to a less than total disaster). From the entrance, we found, in order: - one of the two forks encrusted with dirt. - a beard hair inside the lasagna (resting on the edge of the plate and duly ignored when I picked it up). - the waiter, who, although friendly, thought it best to smoke several times during the service, thus decanting a stale tobacco wad that was unsuitable for the service. - the coffee cup was extremely dirty, as if the coffee machine had exploded on top of it. In short, for a restaurant that presents itself with even the slightest pretense of quality, I have to say it was truly disappointing. I'm not used to negative comments but I'll present everything in an analytical way hoping for improvement because, I repeat, the food was really good.

It offers a very extensive menu of authentic Japanese cuisine; it's not all-you-can-eat, and the difference is noticeable: the fish is incredibly fresh, and the uramaki are served piping hot. The wait for some dishes was slightly longer, but it was worth it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
