10/07/2025: Unfortunately, our visit to Osteria al Borgo wasn't quite as great as the other reviews suggest. In some places, it seems as if the restaurant had recently changed hands and hasn't been particularly organized since. We arrived at the restaurant with seven people. Upon first glance at the menu, it became clear to us: They apparently don't serve pizza here, even though the restaurant advertises itself as a pizzeria. When we asked why the place had pizza in its name, we were simply told: They don't serve it anymore. We decided to stay anyway. Right from the start, the following went wrong: A drink was forgotten, and there were no wine glasses for the wine, or only upon request. After receiving our meals with significant delays, two side dishes were still missing. One arrived very late, the other wasn't brought even after repeated requests. It was still listed on the bill. The dishes themselves were okay, but definitely not worth the price, as they were also very small. We then went elsewhere to get a pizza. From my perspective, we wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Hopefully, we just caught a bad day.

12/08/2025: A truly charming location, with a play area that makes it ideal for families with children. The food is good, rich in flavor, and carefully prepared. The service is courteous, fast, and attentive to customer needs. The only point to review: the cover charge (€2.50 per person) seemed a bit high compared to the average. Overall, a very positive experience that I would recommend.

01/08/2025: Tried the restaurant. Everything was excellent. The ribollita and the arrosticini were a bonus. The terrace offers a splendid view.

11/08/2025: The Osteria da Gano was a real hit! The restaurant was recommended to us by the host of our hotel Palazzo di Valli – and it was a top tip. Every single dish was convincing: – The Crostone with Cavolo Nero and Lardo was rustic and sophisticated. – The ravioli with pumpkin, gorgonzola and walnuts – creamy, nutty, perfectly balanced. – The tagliatelle al ragù bianco di cinta were a dream – the finest ragù from the Cinta Senese pig, typical of the region. – Also salad and vegetable side dishes: fresh, lovingly prepared, simply honest and delicious. The service was super friendly, attentive and calm - you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy with loving details. Great value for money. Conclusion: If you are in Siena – go! A real recommendation for anyone who likes good Tuscan cuisine.

02/08/2025: The best pizza I've had in Pisa. I tried several places, but in the end, I came back here. The prices are great, the place is crowded with locals, and the owner is really nice.

06/08/2025: A group of 10 of us went in March 2025 and ate there. It was delicious.

31/07/2025: Twelve years ago, was the first time I had gnudi. Went back and found them. The gnudi held up to memory. As did the rabbit, the homemade limoncello, etc. The atmosphere is small tables, elbow to elbow with locals and off the beaten path travelers.

03/08/2025: Aspetti POSITIVI: pizza e dolci buoni; camerieri gentili; Aspetti NEGATIVI: 51.5 (cinquantuno euro e cinquanta centesimi) per 2 pizze, 2 dolci e tre bottigliette da 0.5L di acqua (!!!), SENZA SCONTRINO (!!!); conto al tavolo richiesto e mai ricevuto; sistema di prenotazione poco efficiente con conseguenti lunghe attese all'ingresso.

29/07/2025: What can I say!!... nothing because you're so busy enjoying the mixed fried fish, cod, vegetables, etc. that you don't have time to open your mouth except to enjoy the "bomba" fried food... ...and the background music is always exceptional for my tastes... top!! In all... PS: it's better if you book because otherwise you risk being left empty-handed because the guys don't "have hands to make leftovers" as they say in Livorno 😉😂😂😂

27/07/2025: Small but cozy place. Friendly and fast staff. We made reservations for the same evening and they had room. We discovered them because we drove by once and wanted to try them. The pizzas were very good, both flavorful and soft. The only thing I would have done was arrange the chocolate cup differently, and perhaps use more of it. We'll gladly return!

30/08/2025: While it's true that many offer fried fish, Zero Distanze's is in a league of its own. Perfectly crispy, incredibly light, and incredibly fresh fish that releases all its flavor without ever being greasy or heavy. Every bite is a discovery, a rare balance between tradition and craftsmanship. It's a fried dish you won't forget, the kind that makes you say, "They really know how it's done here."

29/08/2025: One of the young waitresses was very unfriendly. After waiting 25 minutes, she didn't even ask for a drink, let alone take our order.

06/08/2025: Appetizer, brown bear, the Neri crostini dough was really good, very tasty and the crostini with radicchio, robiola were delicious.

27/07/2025: A simple pizzeria with an outdoor terrace, located in the center of Ceciliano. Good pizza. Friendly and helpful staff.

24/07/2025: Tuscany on a plate!!! It was an unforgettable evening!!!! We returned after 4 years and it was MAGIC!!!!!! Go and eat the Florentine steak, the appetizers, and even the dessert... everything will make you cry with joy!!!

24/07/2025: The house made Spagetti with Tuscan white meat sauce was simply outstanding as was the fillets with wild porcini mushrooms

21/08/2025: Even though we hadn't booked, they were very helpful and seated us immediately. The food was very well prepared, excellent, and beautifully presented! Only at the end of the meal did we discover that many celebrities who pass through San Quirico stop there, and now I can understand why! A beautiful, welcoming, and secluded little spot! Lunch or dinner there is a must if you're passing through!

20/08/2025: Spending a few days in Val d'Orcia, one of the things I really wanted to do was have a Tuscan dinner, and I can only say I found the perfect place. The dishes were truly delicious: the duck pici were as good as the ribollita. The Florentine steak was exquisite and perfectly cooked. The tiramisu cream made me want to eat more and more. The service was truly friendly and kind, as well as very attentive. I would return to this area even just to try the other dishes on the menu.
