22/06/2025: Truly excellent quality pizza and excellent products. Compliments to the pizza chef and all the staff really with all my heart. From Peschiera Borromeo to here the best pizza. We will definitely come back and see you next time. Always keep it up at the top 🔝

18/04/2025: Fantastic pizzeria, close to home! I always order the Capricciosa, and it's delicious, my son likes the Sfiziosa; they deliver to your home, they are punctual. We really needed a pizzeria like this! p.s. they know me as Meazza.

20/08/2025: 10 Euro for a Lemon Lime and bitters that came on the bill under Cocktail, it was a normal size glass. When I questioned it they said it was an Alcoholic mixed drink and there was nothing they could do. They take you for a fool which was the disappointing part. Anyway Food was ok and nothing special, waiters were very good.

20/08/2025: The food was incredibly tasty and fresh. Everything we had was great. The 4 stars is for the staff The staff need to improve their attitude and service. From the moment we walked in it felt as if we were bothering them. I am not sure if they thought we were foreigners, which is still no justification and if anything would make their actions even worse.

09/08/2025: Antica Trattoria San Giovanni was a perfect choice for lunch between my wife and I, after a long carefree day at Lake Piana degli Albanesi, we ate an appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses with the addition of honey, excellent quality food and abundant accompanied by delicious local re-milled bread, after which we chose a first course of excellent workmanship, my wife had a risotto with pesto, burrata, cherry tomatoes, shrimp, very tasty and abundant, instead I had a plate of linguine sciuè sciuè seasoned with capers, dried tomatoes, pistachio and breadcrumbs, oil, also very tasty and abundant, with two glasses of red wine, finally we chose a dessert with chantilly cream and croccantini as a side, very delicate and light flavor. This is what we really appreciated about Trattoria San Giovanni: the professional and courteous service, our opinions were kindly asked every time, even by the chef. It's a wonderful place that my wife and I carefully chose because it's family-run, and we were therefore thrilled and happy with our choice. The atmosphere is quiet and clean, comfortable and welcoming. We're sure we'll return to try some other dishes, or a main course we didn't choose but will try again next time. Many thanks to the owner, who welcomed us so kindly.

09/09/2025: We ate mouth-watering linguine with clams, a glass of wine and water, the staff were good and kind, the price was a little high for what we ate but overall it is recommended.

31/07/2025: A nice restaurant just back from the beach. The food is good, but not amazing. Service is nice. €81 euros for three people with one starter, three main courses and no dessert.

12/08/2025: As a native of Puglia with a love for Southern Italian cuisine, I expected aromas, flavors, and tradition. Instead, I found a menu capable of transforming iconic dishes into experiments I would have preferred not to try. The parmigiana? Unrecognizable: sweet and sour eggplant (gastronomic heresy), an unpleasant-tasting ricotta mousse... a meeting of tradition and innovation that turned into a disaster waiting to happen. The caponata, which at least plays home with the sweet and sour sauce, was otherwise unmemorable. After expressing my disappointment, I received a pork tenderloin: less shocking than the rest, but with the same omnipresent aftertaste, as if it were the cuisine's trademark. In short: not a Sicilian restaurant, but an alternative version designed for those unfamiliar with the true flavors of the island. I'm not an expert on Sicilian cuisine, but I know how extraordinary it is: here, unfortunately, I've only tasted a counterpart.

17/07/2025: We went to Ciccio Passami l'Olio in Palermo to try one of the most talked-about pizzas in the city. The experience was good, with no particular surprises. The place is cute and welcoming, with a casual atmosphere, perfect for a dinner with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful, although at times the service seemed a bit slow, probably due to the crowds. The pizza is definitely the highlight: well-crafted dough, light and easy to digest, with a good selection of quality ingredients. The menu offers interesting options, both for those seeking classics and those craving something a little more unique. Prices are reasonable, in line with the quality offered and the current trend among high-end pizzerias. Overall, a positive experience, a place to keep in mind if you're looking for a well-made pizza in Palermo.

27/08/2025: We found this restaurant by chance. There were 12 of us. They welcomed us right away, showing us the menu before we sat down to reassure us about the restaurant's prices. We ate different dishes and the service was very fast, quality food and excellent service. The waiter even offered us wine. I personally would recommend it.

Benito, with his delicate soprano voice, will make you dream with typical Palermitan verses, amidst the flavors and aromas of this land. Intense and pungent flavor. 20/08/2025: In the heart of the market, we found this place where the food truly tastes Sicilian. We ordered a mixed antipasto. Sardines alla beccafico were excellent! Highly recommended.

25/08/2025: It's not just a bakery, but also a superb ice cream shop, a good pastry shop, a bar, and a deli with the option of consuming the products directly in the large dining room available to customers. The staff is very friendly, and the owners are attentive and very helpful. Very attractive prices and unquestionable product quality. I had a great time.
