21/07/2025: A very elegant venue, located in a quiet and pleasant square. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for both a dinner with friends and a more sophisticated aperitivo. The food is truly delicious: well-prepared dishes, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful, yet unobtrusive, presentation. The cocktails are also excellent! The service is young, friendly, and attentive—we felt pampered throughout the evening. We'll gladly return!

26/06/2025: This is a hidden gem, the food is beautiful and the service is outstanding, good choice of wines, you can in the beautiful outside courtyard or inside. We ate the Amberjack and the Swordfish, both meals were stunning and the desert was stunning. Highly recommend.

08/10/2025: If you want to experience authentic Sicilian cuisine, this is the place to go to. At the end of August, I spent a week in Palermo and ate here every day for lunch throughout my stay. This small restaurant is run by a genuine Sicilian senior lady and her son. During my visits there, I was not only able to enjoy the delicious food, but also able to have long chats with the very friendly and warm owners of the restaurant – even though I don't speak Italian, as I come from Germany (we communicated using the audio translation function of Google Translate on my smartphone). The prices of the food are unbeatable. The selection of food is great. In particular, I loved the Pasta and Arancini. The food is cooked freshly daily. An authentic Sicilian culinary experience!

02/10/2025: After a day in bustling Palermo, we returned to the B&B on Via Capuccini to grab a bite to eat in the area. D'Angelo Gastronomico was superb. It's a small restaurant with a few tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. Nonna is in charge and a particularly good cook. The dishes are what you'd expect from a Palermo home: delicious pasta, vegetables, arancini, and panzelle. Don't expect luxury or a fancy atmosphere, but feel at home in Palermo!

26/10/2025: The pasta was good, but a little too salty for our taste. They explained to me that the carbonara is salty because of the guanciale and I understand that. However, the cacho e pepe was also salty. Even for my husband, who usually adds more salt than I do. If there was a little less salt, it would have been perfect and the best pasta we tasted in Palermo. After all, these pastas really have great potential. The salad with burrata and tomatoes is very fresh and fragrant. As a compliment, they treat you with their own bread. We were there right after opening, so it was easy to find a table outside.

25/10/2025: This is the first place in Palermo where we feel the food is truly a 5/5! The flavors are in every dish. Wish we found this earlier during our stay!

20/09/2025: The atmosphere, ambiance, and staff were incredible. The waitress, Ivana, was incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to have a laugh—in other words, fantastic. The food was excellent, and the pizzas were amazing. We highly recommend it.

11/10/2025: Cozy place, mediocre pizzas, long wait! We couldn't order fries for the hungry kids while we waited for the other diners because we were told we all had to be there before they could take our orders. As soon as the table was full, we waited a long time before ordering because, inexplicably, orders from several tables that arrived after us were taken first. The pizzas were nothing special!!! We even waited an unreasonable amount of time for two sorbets. We expected more given the reviews!!!

07/10/2025: The restaurant is located on Viale Strasburgo and is very charming. The staff is attentive and friendly, including the owner, who welcomed us warmly, took our orders, and looked after the reserved tables, making sure everything was running smoothly. Food: delicious appetizer (there were 4 fried calzones, beautifully fried, with top-quality ingredients); First course: the pasta (seafood) was very good, homemade and topped with excellent ingredients, with just the right and balanced flavors: I'd also like to point out the generous portions. Desserts: good, average. Overall, a great experience, great price, and excellent wine. Recommended!

20/09/2025: The two of us went for dinner, attracted by the reviews about the quality of the food at a fair price in a typical village trattoria. We ordered a hot appetizer and a large grilled meat platter, which was said to be for two. Unlike the standard grilled meat platter, which serves three pieces per person, the kitchen would have additional pieces to enhance it. A platter arrived with two pieces of sausage, one pork shoulder, one pork rib, and one thin slice of meat, but full of fat and calluses, for €25. It also included a handful of baked potatoes, which according to our order were supposed to be two portions, but turned out to be just one. Also, consider that there's a daily menu, which seriously adds to the inaccuracy. A place for locals that's neither worth the trip for its location nor for its variety and authenticity.

02/06/2025: I absolutely recommend this place! Santa Cristina Gela is a beautiful small and beautifully situated village. There is not much to do, but the people are super friendly and the town has a nice atmosphere, also thanks to Albergo Belvedere! We stayed here after the first stage of the Magna Via Francigena and the owners Giovanni and Mimma welcomed us very warmly. Giovanni is also a good chef and we enjoyed both the delicious dinner and the energetic breakfast. This place completely recharged me to be able to complete the second tough stage of the Magna via. Giovanni and Mimma, it was very nice to meet you and thank you for the good energy during our Magna via. Grazie Mille !

05/10/2025: I went to this pizzeria this evening, a lovely, well-maintained location. The girl at the door was helpful. Good pizza, mozzarella bites, very good filbert, reasonable prices, and the staff were very helpful.

16/09/2025: Crapa Licca is a beautiful resort that allows you to quietly nestle into the hills and mountains of the Sicilian countryside in a peaceful retreat. The restaurant is lovely with great food and service. Spent 6 days here exploring northern Sicily and wholly recommend considering a stay.

14/09/2025: We went for lunch, "a day trip" to this "agriturismo," and to call it that is an understatement! We were greeted superbly by the wait staff and the owners! We started lunch with the various courses! Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, everything was exceptional. A tasting menu always full of new flavors, not the classic "plate" menu. Excellent service, spotlessly clean and fresh! The wait staff was highly trained and competent, and last but not least, the cuisine was excellent. The best agriturismo ever. I recommend it.

18/10/2025: A lovely dinner at wine bar Vino Divino in the Politeama. We started with Prosecco and a Negroni sblagliato along with a misto fritto (panelle, fried zucchini and cauliflower). For mains: I had the pasta with clams; she had the busiate with pistachio pesto, eggplant and stracciatella, accompanied by a bottle of a crisp Insolia. Everything was delicious and the service was good too.

06/10/2025: Lunch with the family during a short vacation in Palermo. Very welcoming place. Quality food, plentiful, with an excellent wine selection. Very friendly waiters and a superb chef. Highly recommended.
