First day in Palermo and it was a wonderful experience right away! Everything was delicious.

The pizza was delicious. It was simply amazing! 🤩 Unfortunately, the tables were dirty, there wasn't much room to sit, and the service wasn't very friendly...

Even if you're just passing through Palermo, it's an experience worth having. Best local food with really good price.

The experience was overall positive. The atmosphere is very informal, free, with tables even on the sidewalk: perfect for those looking for something authentic and unpretentious, in true Palermo street food style. The menu is typical of a local fry shop, with great classics like pane e panelle, crocchè, pane con la spleza, arancini, sfincione, and various sandwiches. We chose two sandwiches with panelle and crocchè and a panino con la spleza maritato: everything was very tasty and in keeping with tradition, with bold and satisfying flavors. The service is equally informal, perhaps a little slow, but in keeping with the type of place. Overall, a place I recommend for an authentic and unpretentious experience, ideal for typical Palermo street food.

Near Piazza Indipendenza, where buses to the main destinations in Palermo stop, this place has limited seating, super cheap prices (a spleen sandwich is €3), and not very clean. But if you're hungry and in this area, it's the best value. I didn't try the restroom, so if you need one, I don't know if it's available. For two, we spent €12, which included drinks, a sandwich, report cards, and meatballs.

Definitely my favorite fry shop for spleen sandwiches. It used to be my favorite for panelle sandwiches, too, but lately they've been getting a "smoky" taste, but I hope they fix that soon. There's usually a decent line, but they sell out pretty quickly.

Excellent sandwiches. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value. Very close to Porta Nuova and the historic center.

A wonderful milza, in a very popular place and off the tourist circuit, where the locals eat.
