Always a benchmark for quality, the ice creams and granitas are top-notch, the food is good but not very varied, but let's remember that it's still a bar, not a restaurant, and the dining room could definitely use a good refresh, but that's just a minor detail.

Il Borgovecchio

26/07/2026: A delicious restaurant/trattoria in the center of San Mauro Castelverde, a village at 1,000 meters above sea level, just a few kilometers from the sea. Delicious food and very friendly staff.
28/06/2026: Delightful location. Local wine and good food. The varied appetizer platter was a delight for the palate. The pasta with Nebrodi pork ragù was excellent. And to finish, the panna cotta was delicious. Very friendly and efficient service. Our table was on a delightful terrace. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.
