A very large space, well-organized internal service. Excellent pastries, a wide variety of Sicilian and non-Sicilian specialties, delicious ice cream, and a deli to boot. There's an indoor dining area for lunch or aperitifs, or other drinks with friends, and there's also a tobacconist and Sisal point. The spaces are well-maintained and clean. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I enjoy an excellent frothy coffee with cocoa made by Simona, perhaps one of the best between Pelermo and Isola delle Femme.

The food Is delicious. I always come every friday to eat lunch with my friends, and the place Is really like an American bar old style. But the prices are a bit too high, and to get service you have to wait a lot, expecially in rush hours. Yet, I loved It.

An institution in Isola. Food, drinks, aperitifs, gelato, desserts... everything from fast food to traditional fare.
Normal prices and friendly staff, a regular summer stop for years without disappointment.
Edit: after a year, the price and service have not changed. Long live the Maxim Bar!!!!
