06/04/2026: This was an absolutely excellent meal, showcasing twists on Sicilian classics. The service is impeccable, excellent wine pairing and good value for such a high-end experience. Definitely one to visit if ever in Palermo.

05/04/2026: Do you really leave hungry? Spoiler: no. Last night we went to A'Cuncuma with the usual doubt that accompanies anyone approaching fine dining. The reality was very different. We chose the tasting menu with fewer courses, and by the end, we were more than satisfied. It's a different way of eating: it's not a trattoria-style portion, but a journey that, step by step, truly fills you up. A gastronomic journey that engages the senses and should be enjoyed slowly. In summary: - Satiety: don't be fooled by the aesthetics, by the end of the evening you'll be more than satisfied. - Memory: it's not just any old dinner; it's an experience that will stay with you forever. - Price: it's not cheap, but it's a "treat" worth giving yourself at least once. If you've never been, it's a shame you haven't tried it yet.

22/11/2025: Yesterday, November 21, 2025, Andrea and I celebrated our wedding...what can I say? Everything was beautiful, the staff was excellent, and the photographer was fantastic. The food was also very good and of high quality, and the service was impeccable. I recommend this villa to everyone.

03/04/2026: April 2nd, lunchtime. I enter with a broken arm and various other obvious physical issues. I ask for a sandwich. They invite me to sit down. When it's time to pay (the sandwich isn't even eaten yet), they want to charge me a €1 cover charge, which I hadn't been told—I could barely stand, and it was pouring rain outside. I was taught that a chair shouldn't be denied to a sick person. I refuse to pay the cover charge and am escorted outside, where I eat the (delicious) sandwich in the cold, under the rain, and with only one arm. Class is in the details. Was losing face for a €1 cover charge worth it?

01/12/2025: We stopped off for lunch here on our way from Palermo to Cefalu, back in late September 2025. We're so glad we did! The food was great, really generous portions, freshly made and with love. There were non alcholic drinks options a plenty. The staff were delightful and super helpful. So nice to see generations of the family working together. This is a gem of a restaurant with lovely views and a great vibe! Definately worth a detour from the highway!
