We decided to have dinner at the Taverna del Pavone and I can say that it was a very pleasant discovery. We received an attentive and thoughtful, almost loving welcome, which continued in the equally splendid service. The dishes consumed were excellent and the price was correct, I was in the company of my wife and we hope to return.

Excellent lunch in this restaurant found by chance while walking in Monreale. The mixed bruschetta appetizer was excellent. What can we say about the first courses and desserts, which are fantastic. The very kind girl. I advise.

Was so pleasantly surprised randomly popping into "La taverna del Pavone" in Monreale, the food was so original and exquisite, and the place so cosy and decorated with good taste!

Really out of the ordinary place. The environment is well-kept and refined while remaining in full Sicilian tradition. The food is not only good but of exceptional quality. Everything very fresh and excellently cooked. I went to celebrate an anniversary and I let the excellent owner Marcello advise me on a traditional and a vegetarian menu. Everything resonated with ancient and well-proposed flavors and to the eye and the palate according to Marcello's guidance almost left free to organize with the necessary personal choices. Everything, I repeat, is exceptional and with excellent, expert balances. Service carried out with great care, kindness and warmth. There is excellent waiting space between one dish and another. Really controlled prices for such quality and results.

Siamo arrivati tardi a pranzo e affamati 5coppie di amici e senza aver prenotato il titolare ci ha fatto accomodare e in poco tempo ci ha servito dei primi buonissimi da fare pure la scarpetta per non parlare dei dolcì altrettanto buoni , mangiato benissimo in un locale accogliente al giusto prezzo . Bravi consigliatissimo

Indecisi su dove pranzare trovandoci di passaggio a Monreale,ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale molto gradevole all’interno. Il titolare è stato molto gentile e simpatico e ci ha elencato anche i fuori menù. Abbiamo poi optato per un antipasto misto denominato “Rustico del Pavone”composto da panelle,crocchette,caponata,olive,zucca e peperoni in agrodolce. Poi a seguire due primi: uno con spaghetti conditi con mandorle,noci,pomodorini,capperi e basilico, l’altro “reginette c’anciova” con pomodoro,uva passa,pinoli e mollica aromatizzata. Che dire: squisiti. Porzioni generose. Consigliato.

04/04/2024: A wonderful local experience. We were not disappointed ! A succulent and very hearty salmon pasta dish, as well as an excellent San Martino pasta dish and also in large proportions. We shared this meal with a retired French couple celebrating their 61st birthday together today. They were delighted with the dishes they had. And we wish them very good luck. Many thanks to the Da Spirito team for this typical Sicilian moment!

Essential menu, with gourmet dishes, elaborated, cared for and presented in an impeccable mise en place, by the hands of a young chef, Salvo Amato, prepared with a solid and prestigious beck ground. Traditional local dishes, with seasonal and fresh raw materials, ensure a taste journey that borders on perfection. Exhaustive wine list, with bottles from excellent wineries, particularly for the section dedicated to DOC bubbles. Impeccable presence of a very good owner, who with empathy and kindness, ensures extreme comfort to the customer. Service and staff present and available. Good value for money, obviously in line with the range of restaurants of the same lineage
