Fantastic place. We had dinner in the alley next to the butcher shop last night. First of all, thank you and compliments to all the staff, especially the young people, who were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. We had fried food (Ciccio Fritto) and a pasta, potato, and provola frittatina, and they were fantastic. As for the frittatina, I have to say I've never had such a good one with potatoes and provola, not even in Naples, with mixed pasta and mashed potatoes on top—a true delight. Next up was burrata stuffed with pesto and mixed bombette, and sliced ​​with cacio e pepe fondue. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Everything was truly delicious. Final price €57, including cover charge and water. Highly recommended. And congratulations again.

If you are in Nardò, you cannot miss Antica Macelleria Fai. It is an authentic meat lovers' paradise. The grilled meats are outstanding—so tender they literally melt in your mouth. The tables are nestled in a typical, beautifully decorated southern Italian alleyway which makes the atmosphere feel very romantic and homey. Fantastic, friendly staff and very fair pricing. 10/10 recommend!

Great food if you just want to eat good meat for a change. Fresh ingredients. The first restaurant where they asked during the meal if everything was to our liking. Funny little alley.

Recommended by our B&B, Francesca welcomed us as if we'd been guests for seven generations. She guided us through our choice of dishes, and for me, a vegetarian, she offered truly delicious dishes, even though we were in a temple of meat. Refined cuisine, old-fashioned flavors, and, as my wife says, a very tender and excellently cooked tagliata. Well done to Francesca and her entire team. Absolutely worth a try! 👍

We spent 8 days in Nardo and ate here 3 times. The food is so delicious, and you can really taste the high quality of the meat. The side dishes were also perfect. Highly recommended.
