23/08/2024: I often come to dine here because the very nice staff makes me feel at home... the pizza is excellent, but I personally prefer the excellent hamburger sandwiches they make, plus the place offers a splendid garden in the classic Salento style, to be able to even dine outdoors on these warm August evenings... the atmosphere here is truly welcoming.

28/08/2024: The place is very large, well-kept, elegant, very clean. The outdoor part is truly enchanting, the staff are very attentive, the service is accurate and quick, but what is most striking is the excellent quality of the food and preparations. Everything was excellent, really delicious! Congratulations for the passion that the chefs put into their work. I haven't found a place like this for many years.

27/08/2024: While consuming the dessert I find a long hair inside it, discreetly, so as not to disturb the other customers, I point it out to the waitress, no response. I go to the cashier to pay the "full" bill, the owner tells me that he had not apologised, as the dessert had been consumed taking into account that the episode occurred at the last bite. Unpleasant place and rude staff

15/12/2024: I had been curious about this place for a long time and yesterday I finally went there with my partner. What can I say? Pleasantly surprised!! Great service, very nice place, intimate atmosphere and food..... Crazy! Since it was dinner in the evening we were quite content and limited among the wide choice of menu, but the choices were spot on and the menu flowers were also excellent. I recommend it and... Maybe we'll come back for lunch!

07/12/2024: There were 5 of us at the table, the temperature inside was optimal, the waiters welcomed us and were immediately quick and kind with our requests. The starters arrived very quickly, exceptional. I didn't drink wine but my friends told me it was an excellent rosé. Less than 5-10 minutes after finishing the starters, the main courses arrived. I took the lamb which was cooked perfectly, the meat tender and tasty. Coffee to finish. While I was smoking a cigarette outside, I met and spoke to the owner who I discovered to be a worldly, interesting and full of energy person. I will definitely return in the future and recommend it to everyone.

22/09/2024: Restaurant located in the center of Racale with a very large environment made up of several rooms, all very characteristic. The menu is mainly composed of typical dishes of the Salento tradition. We took the tasting of appetizers for two which was very abundant and you could even have dinner with just that, a must try. Afterwards we ordered the risotto with turnip top cream and red prawns which was excellent and the grilled prawns were also good. Caring and welcoming staff. An added value is represented by the owner Tonio with whom we stopped to chat at the end of the evening and who made us feel at home. P.S. ask to see the pool in the cave, you will be speechless!

23/08/2024: We had called to reserve a table for 9 but were told it was not available. When we arrived in Nardò, we surprisingly noticed that many seats inside were free and so we went in to ask if we could all sit together or even split up to avoid joining too many tables. The owner, like the other employees, did not seem at all helpful in finding a solution to seat 9 people eager to try their place, in fact they told us to wait as they had to call other customers to make sure that the tables were available. I don't allow myself to judge food, service, etc., but if these are the premises, customers' curiosity to go and visit them will decrease more and more. Luckily, we went to “Cavolifiore” where they welcomed us impeccably. Despite the Cardinal's difficulties, thanks to the second venue we spent a wonderful evening, full of cocktails and excellent food!

23/08/2024: Fantastic environment with a relaxed atmosphere that puts the customer at ease, impeccable service from Irene who meets every need with tact and education, Luca on the other hand prepares spectacular dishes with flavor combinations that you won't easily find elsewhere. Also recommended for those who must eat gluten-free, they make themselves available with attention and care to the customer.

28/08/2024: Fantastic little aperitivo bar, the meats and cheese and insane. Staff super friendly and explained some of the meats to us after asking. Great spot.

03/11/2024: Sono stato poco fa a cena in questo ristorante sul lungomare di Gallipoli su consiglio di un mio amico del posto che me lo aveva caldamente raccomandato. Ho trovato il ristorante di buon livello, con un servizio celere e attento. Discreti i totani fritti su un letto di cipolla caramellata e anche i pàccheri con il sugo di triglie e pomodorini. Meno buono il dessert, un gelato alla mandorla ripieno di marmellata di fichi. Il conto è nella media dei ristoranti del Salento di pari livello.

02/09/2024: Very kind staff, competent owner and room staff ready to give you support. Obviously I can't rate everything but only what I ordered, peppered mussels made very well, the quality of the mussels not at the top, good frittini, linguine with sea urchins good apart from the drizzle of balsamic vinegar on the plate which in my opinion isn't there nothing came in. Small venial sins. I'll be back to try something else.

01/09/2024: Never seen something like this 🤩🤩🤩 For someone like me who eats and drinks, Oltre Gusto is the ideal place. Ate excellently and drank excessively (on the advice of Angelo) paid (in my opinion) less than what I expected! Number 1. Try it to believe it🤩🤩

20/09/2024: Este é o restaurante do 8Piu Hotel. Os pratos são bastante sofisticados e bem executados. Todos tem uma ótima apresentação. É recomendável que, mesmo sendo hóspede, você procure fazer uma reserva pois o local é muito concorrido e o hotel recebe grupos de turistas. Em duas noites seguidas (estávamos hospedados no 8Piu Hotel) pedi o filé de cavalo e gostei demais. Uma carne macia e saborosa Recomendo: Filetto di equino e rosti di patate al rosmarino. O serviço do restaurante é muito profissional e amável.

18/09/2024: Ótima surpresa este restaurante dentro do hotel 8 PIU. Como o hotel é um pouco distante, resolvemos experimentar o restaurante e ficamos agradavelmente surpresos. Cozinha com técnica e esmero, contemporânea, explorando so ingredientes locais . Serviço atencioso e eficiente.
