27/04/2024: Highly recommended especially for the gluten-free option, my celiac wife was able to enjoy from the starter to the first courses, the second courses and the dessert every dish from the cuisine exclusively from the Salento tradition... excellent for a celiac... friendly environment, family management, everyone is very friendly and prepared and highly recommended good.. also prepared for gluten-free.. they conveyed passion for their work, excellent guys.. we recommend it. giovanni/chantal

24/04/2024: As a celiac I am fully satisfied with everything 😀 from the staff to the food so far I have tasted some excellent panzerotti and a good pizza and the pasticciotto cake! I will definitely return to try the restaurant sector 😃 but ultimately everything is ok

22/09/2024: Pizzeria, pickup and delivery service. Pizzeria with seating but no service (snack bar) Have been here several times in the last two years and have always been very satisfied. Excellent quality again this year. So you can speak of lasting top quality with a clear conscience. This applies independently to red and white pizzas, of which we tried several of each. We'll be back next year too.

03/11/2024: The location of the restaurant is welcoming and reflects the traditional Salento style, but suffers from narrow and closed spaces. As soon as I entered, I noticed the air was not very fresh and there were too many people, which made the environment uncomfortable. The organization of the tables is lacking, with the absence of cloth tablecloths and napkins. An unpleasant episode was the request for a normal Coke, which was instead served with a Coke Zero, a non-negligible error. Furthermore, the arrangement of the tables on different floors creates inconvenience for guests. The lack of bread at the table is another negative point, as is the frying which was excessively oily. However, the service stands out for the courtesy of the staff, even if important elements such as a physical menu are missing, making the experience less complete. After the appetizers, the service slowed down: we waited a long time before the waiter came to remove the dirty dishes and check the progress of the meal. The wait for the first one was three quarters of an hour and, although good, it did not fully meet expectations. The bathroom, small and poorly maintained, with dirty windows and an impractical sink in the corridor, reflects an internal organization that leaves something to be desired. The absence of a basket for cold wine was another sore point. The lack of background music contributes to a monotonous atmosphere. One embarrassing moment was when a waiter, while serving a pan-like dish, unapologetically dropped a bottle of wine, simply throwing napkins on the table to clean up the stain. The second course, which arrived shortly after, was a pleasant surprise: the very tender suckling pig served with mashed potatoes seasoned with sesame seeds was excellent and hot. However, the potatoes arrived cold and slightly battered, and the grilled vegetables on the side, including cabbage, were not equally appreciated. The dessert, a tiramisu served in a cup, was good, but the portion was definitely too small, suitable only for a taste. In summary, the culinary experience showed ups and downs: the courteous service and some quality dishes contrasted with poor management and several organizational shortcomings that negatively affected the overall experience.

29/09/2024: Review: The place is welcoming and the staff are friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the pizza leaves a little to be desired. The dough is good, but the raw materials are not up to par. For example, the Guappo Pizza, with ricotta in the crust, had a completely flavorless filling, while the mozzarella was rubbery. Overall, the dough is great and with an improvement in the ingredients, the experience could definitely improve. Overall rating: 6 out of 10.

16/10/2024: We stayed at Porto Antico several times. The food is excellent. The restaurant owner Antonio and his wife were very friendly, attentive and recommended us very well. It's a family business. Grandmother's kitchen! The ingredients are local and fresh. Simply unique. Please ask about local specialties. Price performance is right. We'll be back. 1a

29/10/2024: The spritz promo for €3 on Fridays is interesting, (which is impossible to find outside the Veneto) a place with a big screen to watch various sports, finally not just football.

26/10/2024: I had booked a table (Saturday evening) and once I arrived at the restaurant the waiter stated the absence of electricity, therefore, consequently, the impossibility of having dinner. All this without any kind of warning. Absurd.

04/10/2024: We stayed at the hotel for six nights at the end of september and enjoyed very much for all the kind hospitality of the staff, delicious service and great beaches, wiews, and the athmosfere of south Italy. Hope to get back, worth to travel there even though it's long distace from Finland.

15/12/2024: We went to this place because it was recommended by friends. Really friendly and kind managers.. excellent service. Really excellent food with first choice products. However, I would recommend asking at each table how the meat is cooked as not everyone likes it well done but that's not my case as it was fine. Another tip is to bring the various condiments (oil, salt, vinegar) to the table in order to season the various dishes as desired. Location to be revisited because the pearly walls with LED lights barely match the restaurant. For the rest everything went well. Honest prices. We will definitely be back 👍🏼

12/12/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant with some friends... we ordered the very famous elongated crocche.... but beyond the shape there is nothing else... a little mint, no pepper, no cheese, non-existent, the only flavor that could be felt was or starch or flour... we took the seafood salad... we couldn't have chosen worse... industrial product without flavor with a slightly annoying aftertaste... what can I say! We also ate the pizza.... that fixed our palate... it was very good.... We came back a little disappointed...

18/09/2024: Beautiful place on the banks of the port of Otranto, suggestive location, fresh fish and very kind staff. Fair prices and within the local average. We return for dinner at least once every summer, this year we were particularly satisfied; a positive note of merit for having deducted from the menu the grilled vegetables that we hadn't even seasoned since we were full... a gesture certainly not obvious or obligatory, but truly much appreciated. Thanks 😀

15/09/2024: Product of very good quality and very well prepared. Spectacular fish of the day as well as excellent service. The terrace has views of the castle and the port that make it very pleasant.
