01/02/2026: We had an excellent dinner last night at a restaurant in the center of Lecce. The owner was helpful and courteous, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. The first course menu is also suitable for vegetarians.

25/01/2026: Am I a loser? I read tons of reviews before booking, all of them positive, with almost all 5 stars, only a few with 4. My experience was: unsympathetic staff (big smiles, chatter, and a joking tone with probably regular customers), soft pizza in the center, and I thought, "Okay, maybe it's the mozzarella that's leaking the most water," but when I lifted the pizza, I saw it wasn't cooked; it was white, as if it had just been in the oven. To be honest, I have to say that the ingredients on top were plentiful and good, the pizzas were generally reasonably priced, and the fried pizzas were very good, crispy, and not greasy.

07/10/2025: I spent a long weekend here for a wedding and it was overall an incredible experience. The professional and warmly welcoming staff made my time there so pleasant, easy and relaxing. All of the food was delicious!! The included breakfast was so generous- I will miss that the most! The room (bathroom, bed, and patio) is probably the nicest I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous views. I think everything is very reasonably priced for what you receive. If you are looking for a resort where you can spend 24 hours a day- this place is perfect. Thank you to all the staff ❤️

05/12/2025: A must-visit if you're in Salento. The atmosphere is informal, the service is good, but the food is excellent, whether it's raw, fried, or grilled. Great prices, I come back every year. It's even worth the 40-minute drive just for Capitan Morgan.

31/10/2025: How can it be that plastic tableware is still being used these days? And in a restaurant, no less! We were appalled and thought it was a joke when the waiter brought us a bottle of water and two plastic cups. Then came the cutlery, also plastic, wrapped in plastic film 😳 And then the food, guess what? On plastic plates? What's going on? Too lazy to wash them? And all this with a direct view of the sea. One can only hope that none of it ends up in the ocean. The food was alright, but it would have been much nicer served on porcelain plates. The waiters could have smiled a bit more, and walking around the restaurant with their arms crossed doesn't exactly make a good impression.

18/02/2026: Our first dinner in Cupertino was at @lalanterna_delgreco, in Piazza del Popolo. We ordered the ENTRECOTE DI MANZO, cooked to perfection and delicious. This restaurant and @illanterninopizzeria (where we dined on the second night) are owned by the same person, so much so that they picked up the beers from the nearby restaurant. Very good service. We sat outside, the evening was very pleasant. Cupertino is that small town where children can play in the street at night, ride their bikes in the square… Menu photos September 2025.

20/12/2025: The food was excellent, the atmosphere simple and pleasant. The wait was a bit long, but it didn't matter. I wasn't in a rush, and the staff's kindness more than made up for it.

13/03/2026: Unfortunately, zero stars aren't an option. An evening to forget, absurd in every way. I've been there several times, but I don't think there will be a next time. First of all, they gave us a table next to 25 non-rowdy children, more than that, left to do whatever they wanted by both the parents (who were nearby) and the wait staff. So much so, we saw other tables refuse to sit in that room; they couldn't find us another table. The pizzas weren't as good as we remembered, just okay; in fact, one was even wrong and remade badly. I called a waiter, and he looked at me condescendingly, nodded, and then didn't come to the table. I just wanted to order another beer, I didn't force you to work. A headache-inducing evening, and I work in the restaurant industry myself, but I absolutely can't remember a situation this grotesque. Definitely not recommended. I'd change the name from Zona Franca to Cambiate Zona.

20/08/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this StreetFood to satisfy an evening craving for crepes. Given my gluten intolerance, it was quite difficult to find a place to go, but searching online, we came across "Man in Pasta StreetFood." The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful, and explained the various gluten-free and vegan options. The gluten-free crepe was crispy and filled with plant-based Nutella. For four crepes, including the gluten-free one, we paid €16. I recommend the experience, especially to those like me who are gluten intolerant!
