A truly pleasant experience! The restaurant is welcoming and meticulously maintained, and the staff is friendly and professional. We sampled dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I recommend their signature dish, the spaghetti benedetto. Everything was very balanced and beautifully presented.

An overall disappointing experience, falling short of expectations, with a bill of around €80 per person. The only truly positive note was the exceptional, professional, and courteous wait staff. Otherwise, the evening presented too many challenges: our table was set against a wall with an exposed gutter and a dismal view, an unsuitable setting for a venue aiming high. The food also disappointed: the kitchen attempted to achieve haute cuisine, but without success, offering unconvincing pairings despite the excellent quality of the ingredients. The good wine and the courtesy of the staff saved the day, but at this price point, the experience has to be impeccable.

We had a 10:00 PM reservation, a 15-minute wait to be seated, which was still passable, but then another 30 minutes before we received the menu and could order. When asked for a wine recommendation, the waiter asked if we wanted "the local bland wine" or something from the menu, immediately emphasizing the price difference. The first courses were good, but we then waited another 30 minutes for the first courses, which were bland and tasteless. The final bill: €65 per person, decidedly excessive for the service and quality offered. The place is beautiful and well-kept, but at these prices, aesthetics aren't enough: you expect more attentive service and top-notch cuisine. The attempt to offer a discount on the final bill, even if it was only €4, was appreciated, although the response to the (requested) comment about the pasta was lacking.

Good, yes, but I wouldn't go back. The prices are exorbitant, except for the main course, which I found quite tasty. Everything else was very mediocre. I was hoping for more unique flavors considering the high price.

A €4 cover charge for two breadsticks, two pieces of bread, and a focaccia that looked like it was made yesterday is hard to justify. To make matters worse, one of the dishes was even chipped, a detail that shouldn't exist in a restaurant in this price range. The service was inconsistent: on the one hand, the sommelier was knowledgeable, friendly, and capable; on the other, there was a constant rush to clear the table, even going so far as to clear the plates before they were finished. This attitude made us feel more like we were in the wrong place than guests. The spaghetti Benedetto was a disappointment: completely drowned in oil and with so much chili pepper that it overpowered every other flavor. A dish that aims for impact, but completely loses its balance. The linguine with sea urchins that my girlfriend ordered also didn't convince: the flavor of the sea urchins was practically absent. She didn't like them so much that I finished half of her dish, but even so, it felt like the preparation didn't showcase the main ingredient at all. The atmosphere is certainly elegant, but the place is excessively dark. Beyond the ambiance, it's even difficult to visually appreciate the dishes and their colors. Overall, I sensed a lot of pomp and self-referentiality, but this ambition isn't reflected in the cuisine. I had the impression that restaurants are run more to please themselves than to offer a truly satisfying experience to their customers. High prices aren't enough to be a top-notch restaurant: when the balance between expectations, quality, and bill isn't convincing, the customer risks simply feeling disappointed. I can't say I ate badly, but I also can't say I had an experience that lived up to its promises. I don't despise it, but I'd be hard-pressed to return.

The restaurant was recommended to us by friends and it exceeded our expectations. The waiters were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the location was beautiful. Very romantic atmosphere.

My wife was impressed again!!! Yet another great discovery!!! A very quaint location, where you can also eat on a wonderful and very romantic terrace in a narrow street in the historic center. Both Samuele and the entire staff are highly knowledgeable and give excellent advice. Spaghetto Benedetto is worth any trip!!! Wonderful!!!

The service and food were amazing! The oysters, tuna tartare and octopus were mouth watering. 10/10 would recommend staff were so lovely!
