21/08/2025: I stumbled upon Bar New Tandem in Cavallino almost by chance while looking for some sweets for my mother-in-law, who was taking them with her to Naples. It was around 9:00-9:30 in the morning, so a fairly normal time for breakfast, but upon entering, I immediately noticed that the display case, despite being very large, was almost empty: just a few pasticciottos and a few other sweets. I must admit that the initial impression wasn't the best, especially considering the place is quite well-known and well-reviewed online. Luckily, we managed to grab the last pasticciottos available, which we tried right away and took away. And I must say, the product itself is truly delicious: the crumbly pastry, the perfectly sweet cream, and a flavor that reveals the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal craftsmanship. This is precisely why it's even more disappointing not to have found a larger display case, because it's natural to think how unfortunate it would be to limit yourself to trying just a couple of desserts when the entire lineup is probably truly worth it. The prices are fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful, which definitely adds to the overall experience. All in all, I'd say the place is worth a visit, but perhaps it's best to go at a slightly later time than I did, when the sweets are fully stocked. If you happen to be passing through Cavallino, it's definitely worth stopping by and sampling their products, starting with the pasticciotto, which remains a guaranteed success.

27/08/2025: The food was delicious. We ordered a giant charcuterie and cheese board. The burger was super tasty and huge. The meat was excellent, and the beers were good. Recommended if you're in Cutrofiano or the surrounding area and fancy some meat or grilled meat. We'd definitely go back.

22/08/2025: As far as I'm concerned, it was a positive experience. The burgers were delicious, the horse meat was good, and the eggplant meatballs were equally good.

22/05/2025: It is the classic "Bar della piazza". The meeting place of the community. The place where it is not luxury that welcomes you but human warmth and friendliness. The context is that of the historic center, vital and pulsating where you find yourself "by chance" or by habit and you always find an acquaintance, a friend or the same managers with whom you can spend a pleasant moment of precious sociality.

27/06/2025: Beautiful reality!!!! Beautiful environment...clean as normal...excellent products and service. The only flaw in my opinion is the price: a bit expensive. For a breakfast I honestly expected to spend a bit less

20/06/2025: I share my experience in this place, simply exceptional. All the staff deserve my most sincere compliments. Always attentive service. I make a special mention to the very good and professional barista GABRIELE. Impeccable, the technique for preparing the espresso that does it for me. Ideal temperature, creamy, perfect. The place is very clean, well organized, with a welcoming atmosphere. Honest prices for the quality of the products offered. Highly recommended!

19/07/2025: There are many restaurants in Lecce, this is one of our favorites. The cuisine is highly refined, the waiters are very polite, the owner is always present and very attentive, and the ingredients they use are always fresh. Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: We already knew the wines... but rediscovering them in their birthplace, where it all begins, gives them a whole new dimension. The tasting, held in the estate's bar-restaurant, will remain etched in our memories. The selection of five wines kicks off a veritable feast for the senses: impeccable service, precise explanations, and perfectly thought-out pairings. Each wine is accompanied by local products, as beautifully presented as they are delicious—a perfect harmony between passion and refinement. An unforgettable moment, worth experiencing at least once.

02/09/2025: Today, September 2, 2025, I visited this winery for the second time. The last visit was two years ago, and unfortunately, it was also a huge disappointment. I went there because I was already familiar with their wines and wanted to try some new ones to offer in my shop. As soon as I entered, however, I immediately sensed a haughty air: the staff looked me up and down simply because of my attire. I was with a friend, also wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Nothing unusual: we were in a seaside area, on vacation, with our dogs, looking for relaxation and new wineries to discover. In particular, I was very disappointed by the attitude of all four women I interacted with. At the cash register, a very grumpy woman, then a young woman, also rather simpering. I asked if I could taste two Primitivo wines, without immediately specifying the reason, just to test their hospitality. She replies, "Yes, yes, I'll let you try them now," but another woman behind the counter immediately intervenes—obviously a manager—saying, "No, no, make me wait. When the other guy arrives, we'll let you taste them. You don't have time." We wait ten minutes, and finally this famous guy arrives. He leads us into a room and, in a detached tone, tells us to sit down and wait. Then he asks, "What do you want to try?" I repeat, the two Primitivos, and he asks, "Are you trying them in one glass, or should I bring you two glasses?" I already knew the level... if we're two people, obviously two glasses are needed. We taste the first wine—excellent, no complaints about the quality—but in the meantime, a very grumpy woman comes in and scolds us because the car was badly parked and there were dogs inside. I explained that the car was in the shade, in an open space, and that I would move it immediately. So I did. When I return, another manager asks me what else I wanted to try. I reply that we were waiting for the second wine from the young man, but she insists: "Yes, yes, tell me what you want to try, the young man doesn't have time." Finally, she pours me the wine, which unfortunately was served too cold, thus unable to fully express its aromas. But at that point, it was clear that we were no longer interested in them presenting the wine properly. We conclude the tasting, I thank the young man, and he asks me: "Were the wines good?" A question that even sounds banal in that context. I answer politely and head to the storeroom to purchase. I encounter the grumpy woman again, who, in an arrogant tone, asks me: "What do you want?" I tell her I wanted to buy the wines I'd just tasted. She smugly asks: "Do you want a bottle?" I reply: "No, a case." For the other wine, the same thing happens: "A bottle?" - "No, a case." At that point, I held back: I wanted to buy much more, even a whole pallet, and taste other wines. I had taken the time to visit their winery and trust them, but they failed to appreciate either the product or the welcome they provided. If one of my employees had behaved like this, I would have been given a good dressing down. This is no way to welcome customers, especially when people who could become good buyers come in, even if they're simply dressed. Before judging appearances, there are many other things you should consider. In conclusion: the wines are worth it, but the staff is not. It was a bad experience that has convinced me not to buy from them again. I was even looking for a selection of wines for my next agriturismo, but this winery, unfortunately, will be discarded.

30/06/2025: El restaurante está situado justo enfrente del castillo en el casco antiguo de Otranto. El comedor interior es un poco estrecho, así que optamos por el Wintergarden, que ofrece un poco más de espacio. La comida está muy bien presentada y muy imaginativa. Comenzamos con anchoas adobadas servidas con achicoria y mermelada de naranja, una combinación inusual que funciona sorprendentemente bien. A continuación, tuvimos los espaguetis de erizo de mar, que era excepcional. El servicio fue impecable. Es un lugar muy conocido entre los lugareños, así que si estás planeando una visita, asegúrate de hacer una reserva, especialmente por la noche. Los precios son más altos, pero los ingredientes son increíblemente frescos y los platos absolutamente deliciosos.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente poco confortevole ,e siamo stati un po’ isolati dalla cameriera .Sembrava quasi che la nostra presenza non era gradita .A chiudere la cena si è presentato uno grosso scarafaggio proveniente dal soffitto che girava intorno al tavolo. Il personale sembra abituato forse a scene come queste ,hanno schiacciato l’insetto e raccolto . Tutto è tornato nella normalità ,ma noi siamo andati via un po’ infastiditi ,tutto può accadere ma almeno ci aspettavamo le scuse .Sicuramente non ci torneremo. Qualità del cibo discreta per il prezzo pagato.

19/08/2025: We stayed for a week, and found the room ready as soon as we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise because rooms are usually available late in the morning or, worse, early in the afternoon. Everything was clean and tidy, the owner is very kind and available for anything, and you absolutely must try their dry-aged meat, the involtini, the beef tartare, and the pizza, because everything is truly delicious. I highly recommend it!

18/08/2025: We found this property through the popular search engine, called the owners directly, and they immediately took action to accommodate us. The property's location is strategic, halfway between the city of Lecce and the most beautiful beaches in Salento. Located in a very quiet area of Copertino, we were immediately struck by the owners' friendliness and the cleanliness of the mini apartment, where everything has been designed to ensure a worry-free holiday: an induction stovetop, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, sink, and a quiet and well-furnished patio. The desserts provided by the staff in the room are exceptionally delicious, and they clean every day; nothing is missing. We also enjoyed the pizza from the restaurant downstairs, and I assure you, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

28/07/2025: I visited the place because my girlfriend is celiac, and they have several excellent options. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and friendly. The place is beautiful, but above all, the food was exceptional. I went in to try it, but I never expected it to be so excellent in every way. A wonderful discovery, I'll definitely be back and bring as many people as possible to discover this place.

20/07/2025: We went a few days ago with friends, and I must say that the place has left the old-fashioned structure behind, but the interior has been updated, and it's truly very welcoming. We had a beer around midnight, and I must say that the staff was very welcoming and professional, pampering the customers and even frying up some fries for the little girl. I must say I was very impressed. We'll definitely be back for another wonderful evening!

20/08/2025: We've been staying in this area, at relatives' houses, for many years. After lunches and dinners based on meat, we opted to explore seafood restaurants. After exploring the locations and dishes, we relied on the reviews. Well, what can I say? They exceeded all expectations! Excellent quality and dishes cooked with love! We were so pampered by the excellent service and the spectacular location. NB: I "scarpetta" (cleaned the surface of every dish) and ate amazing mussels (never eaten and never will if not here). COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF AND ALL THE STAFF!!! GREENS FROM MODENA 😉😍

24/05/2025: Most people flock to the commercial spots in the center, but this place truly deserves a 5-star rating for its pasticciotto and coffee. The atmosphere is amazing, with a genuine local vibe that makes the experience special. The service is exceptional—friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. A big Bravo to the team at L'incontro for doing such a great job. I loved the place so much, that the next day I went again for a rustico 😋 don't miss it! PS: check out the puffs in the tall fridge on the right hand side, they're awesome!!!
