Le Garibaldine In Gallipoli

Excellent local restaurant in the old town. The food was superb, and the atmosphere was perfect. Very good value for money considering the restaurant's location.

What can I say... Pampered both in the dining room by Sara and the staff and in the kitchen by Stefano, we went for lunch to taste appetizers from the land, authentic flavors, delicious chicory, for dinner seafood appetizers and first courses, raw materials of the highest quality, exceptional purple prawns, croutons and mackerel, really good, in our 4 days I would have returned to try other courses. I had dinner at Le Garibaldine and I must say it was a truly fantastic experience, one that stays with you forever. We started with a seafood bruschetta with burrata and raw shrimp, simply incredible: a truly successful combination, incredibly fresh and very balanced. The seafood pittule were also excellent, light and flavorful, not at all greasy as they often are. For our first courses, we tried the potato gnocchi with mussels and cherry tomatoes and the orecchiette allo scoglio: both dishes were truly well-made, with generous portions and, above all, the fish was of the highest quality. You can immediately taste when the ingredients are fresh, and that's definitely a strong point here. Overall, everything was excellent: from the food to the service, to the atmosphere. You can sense the attention to detail and passion for what they do. If you're in Gallipoli and looking for a restaurant where you can eat quality seafood without any surprises, this is definitely a place to try.

We had lunch at Garibaldine, in the historic center of Gallipoli. I'd always heard good things about it, and we were truly delighted. We started with three appetizers: seafood bruschetta, seafood pittule, and a cheesemaker's plate, the latter extremely generous. The bruschetta was undoubtedly my favorite! The quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent: everything was fresh and well-prepared. The portions were truly generous, so much so that we stopped at the first course. We chose seafood orecchiette, and were also impressed: a super-abundant dish packed with seafood. The staff was very courteous and attentive throughout the service. It was a truly pleasant experience, and I would 100% return! ♥️

We had a wonderful meal at this cozy little restaurant. All the ingredients were top-quality, and special mention goes to the octopus alla pignata, which was truly exceptional.

Beautiful, welcoming place. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is excellent quality and generous portions. The price is reasonable for the service provided. The only drawback is the internal courtyard where the tables are very close together, almost touching each other, and debris sometimes falls from the walls (which are old and unplastered). Highly recommended.

If I could give it a 10, I would. Everything was sooo delicious! I especially loved the octopus in a pot and the pasta with purple shrimp. The latter was simply the most delicious pasta I've ever had 🔥 The staff was pleasant. The food arrived quickly. Highly recommend!
