Located in front of the Mother Church and the column of Sant'Andrea in Presicce, Curti Vecchi welcomes you in the full beauty of the ancient village. Location combined with context, dishes that bite after bite completely immerse me in my land and that remind me of the flavor and aroma of my childhood with my grandparents, especially with the 'cicureddhe' from the garden of the chef owner, very kind and friendly as he is his daughter Alessandra. Lots of vegetarian dishes available, which are fundamental for me, accompanied by a good wine.

Happy to have tasted some excellent orecchiette with turnip greens before saying goodbye to Puglia! Quality raw materials and genuine food...excellent desserts, especially the panna cotta prepared by the owner! 😋

En partant de Gallopoli vers Leuca, nous nous sommes arrêtés dans le village de Presicce qui mérite un arrêt pour visiter sa très jolie église. Nous avons pris un café dans ce restaurant et sommes tombés sur Giovanni qui a été d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons discuté de choses et d’autres et il nous a annoncé que le soir même (hasard ), il y avait la fête au village pour le St Patron de Presicce St Andrea (30 novembre) Nous avons donc saisi l’opportunité pour dîner chez lui le soir et profité de la fête. Au menu : Antipasti succulents et ensuite des ‘ cavaletti aux vongole avec sauce aux artichauts’ Giovanni est non seulement un super cuisinier mais également un homme de grand cœur. Allez y absolument, vous ne serez pas déçus et comme Presicce est encore peu connue, cela fera tourner son restaurant.
