Satkar In Torino

Satkar is a small Indian restaurant located on a side street in the Nizza Millefonti neighborhood. The atmosphere is intimate, clean, and welcoming, with Indian music playing in the background. The dishes are reasonably priced and portions are moderate, very flavorful, and unique for an Italian palate. Service is quick, and the staff is very friendly and courteous.

Quiet and clean place, delicious food, and fair prices. The cheese bread is definitely worth trying, it's so good. The girl who served us was very kind and even gave us tips for making their fantastic mango lassi. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent cuisine and welcoming service

Stopped by during our lunch break. The place was neat and clean, very tidy. Excellent food, from appetizers to main courses. The rice was light and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice (you can request the spiciness you want, and season with sauces included in the cover charge). The chicken was fabulous, melt-in-your-mouth, served in an incredible sauce. The bread was tasty. The girl who served us was very nice and friendly. The prices were fair. I'd never been to an Indian restaurant before, but I'll definitely be back!

We came on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't very crowded. We discovered it through Just Eat delivery. We ordered a very generous and tasty chicken menu accompanied by a green salad, potato salad, and chickpeas. The vegetarian menu consisted of cheese, lentils, and eggplant cream. The mango dessert and gulab jamun were truly delicious! We ordered Indian tea, which was excellent with dinner. We had already tried two other more renowned restaurants, and this one is second to none.

It was my first experience with Indian cuisine, and I was very satisfied; the atmosphere was bright and clean, the service friendly and eager to explain the cuisine's ins and outs. I recommend starting with mild dishes to see if you can go a little more adventurous.

I ordered takeout, and the food was delicious. I recommend the eggplant curry!!
