24/01/2025: Italian above / English below -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- Trattoria Anna is truly an underrated restaurant in the center of Turin. It's easy to miss, as it's on a back street, but it truly is a hidden gem. I ordered the scampi as a starter, then the spaghetti with seafood. Both very tasty while retaining the freshness of the fish. The space itself isn't that big (I was sitting on the ground floor and didn't see how many tables were upstairs) which lends itself to a cozy atmosphere. The service was wonderful. The waitress who served me was very attentive and kind, and when (with my usual usta (translation from Ferrarese, "grace" 😅) I managed to throw a mussel directly onto my light jeans, she immediately brought me some degreaser to make sure the stain didn't stick. I highly recommend this place if you visit the center of Turin! -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- This is truly an underrated restaurant in downtown Turin. 06/12/2024: I'll start from the positive side, a lunch menu for €8 with such a wide choice of possibilities is difficult to find nowadays. The menu itself is full of dishes for every type, so much so that you are spoiled for choice. The flaw is the quality of the food, in the photo, the Cantonese rice was a little sticky while the beef with curry was too dry; ok vegetables. Recommended for a quick but satiating meal.

21/11/2024: Conosciamo questo cinese da anni. I proprietari/camerieri sono gentilie cordiali. La cucina è semplice ma buona. Il servizio ai tavolo è PESSIMO. La scorsa settimana,eravamo in tre persone, siamo arrivati alle 19 e dentro c erano 2 tavoli da 2 persone. Abbiamo ordinato il cibo e questi sono stati i tempi di attesa: dopo 25 minuti sono arrivati i ravioli per due, alle 19.50 sono arrivati 2 piatti si spaghetti su 3. Il terzo commensale ha mangiato, da solo, la sua prima portata dopo un'ora e un quarto dall ordinazione. Assurdo. Lo abbiamo fatto presente dura la.serata del ritardo , ma nulla è cambiato. Alla fine ci hanno scontato di 5 euro sul totale. Che dispiacere!

30/12/2024: Siamo arrivati alle h.15 circa di domenica col timore di non riuscire a pranzare e invece sono stati cortesissimi e abbiamo preso un ottimo tagliere di salumi e formaggi misti delle valli di Lanzo accompagnato da ottimo nebbiolo e una focaccia toast e panino per i ragazzi. Purtroppo avevamo dimenticato il bob dei ragazzi a casa e sono stati così gentili da prestarcene uno: praticamente ci hanno salvato il pomeriggio! Alla fine delle mille slittate siamo rientrati per scaldarci con una cioccolata che finalmente era una cioccolata come si deve, densa e bollente! Bhè, siamo stati così bene che il giorno dopo, anche se dovevamo partire, siamo ritornati per il pranzo, questa volta all'orario giusto: agnolotti al sugo d'arrosto, togliolini alle noci, tomino caldo arrotolato nello speck e arrosto tutto con accompagnamento di verdure cotte, nebbiolo e torta di mele fatta in casa. Tutto ottimo! Per finire, quando i ragazzi si sono saziati di discesine col bob, bisogna di cioccolata e si torna in città. Prezzi onesti, direi: brioches 1,30€, un calice di nebbiolo 3,50€, pranzo "pomeridiano" sui 40-50€ in cinque, cioccolata con panna 3,50€ Ovviamente un posto consigliatissimo, anche per l'estrema cortesia e disponibilità del personale. Ah! Cani accettati, perché ospitalità e cortesia è anche questo!

12/10/2024: Rude staff, poor raw materials, you don't even deserve one star. I ordered a cake for my partner's birthday and it had a hair inside, the stuff looked old and not fresh, very high prices, terrible experience. I don't recommend it. (They also treat customers badly and the employees can be heard shouting behind the counter and the owner always closes the door).

15/01/2025: I've been coming here often for years now, the location is excellent, the toasts are of above average quality and above all they fill you up! I would also like to compliment the staff, always smiling and very kind, the thing that struck me most was seeing the use of gloves in the kitchen (very few people use them nowadays). Compliments!
