18/04/2026: A place with a young and lively atmosphere. We started with a trio of appetizers, all very good and beautifully presented. The highlight was the pizza alla pala, truly excellent, especially the one with Bra sausage: flavorful and well-balanced. A positive experience.

15/04/2026: We chose this place with friends who came to visit us from Lombardy. The location is, as always, well-kept and very beautiful in terms of colors and furnishings. The welcome was professional. The menu was nice, although I would have liked a few more choices. We ordered three "Pala" (the term used on the menu) and a Caesar salad. When it was time to serve, only two "Pala" and the salad arrived; one hadn't been marked. So our friend watched us while we ate. Embarrassed, we gave him some of ours. I should start by saying that the dough was very good, but it's not the classic PALA (which has a completely different shape than a circle, more like a flatbread, is crispier, and is usually served on a wooden board). It was more like a pinsa, but we liked it anyway. The Caesar salad was also really good. The desserts were up to par. I was only disappointed that such an unpleasant mistake, in which we were served at different times, wasn't "repaired," not even by offering a coffee to our friend who had to wait. Sometimes it takes very little to make a customer understand how much a restaurant cares about them.

22/12/2025: There were 30 of us, and they served us excellently. The place was lovely and welcoming, and the staff were very helpful with their suggestions. The pizza was very good. I had the fior di latte gelato with salt, extra virgin olive oil, and chopped pistachios. It was really good. Of course, you have to like the sweet/salty contrast, but it surprised me, in a positive way. Definitely worth repeating.

09/06/2025: An Unforgettable Experience at Osteria in Piola. I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and can honestly say it was an extraordinary experience. The decor is very distinctive, with the barrels and the bar truly catching the eye, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, further enhanced by the spectacular view that makes every moment unforgettable. The food is simply excellent, with expertly prepared dishes and the freshest ingredients. The extensive wine selection perfectly complements each course. The staff is incredibly kind and super hospitable, making you feel immediately at ease. In short, Osteria in Piola is a true gem in Arguello. I highly recommend it!

06/01/2026: The B&B Chez Serena, 10 km away, highly recommends a visit. Enjoy dinner there. It features a traditional dining room, a modern interior patio, and a huge garden. Suitable for large events, too. You can choose the menu and chef.

24/03/2026: This is my second time staying at Tano di Grich, with a group of eight people, for a week-long ski touring trip. The experience has been just as wonderful as before. The family, especially the owner, Roberta, gave us a fantastic welcome. The food is high-quality, refined, and varied, featuring recipes and often local ingredients. The accommodation is very well-suited to a group, with apartments with double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. The half-board option offers excellent value for money. In short, an excellent place to stay, and one I highly recommend. Sergius.
