The location was beautiful, the food was 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course, dessert, and coffee... drinks included in the price.... Great for returning, everything was delicious and homemade. The ravioli were spectacular!

30/08/2025: Convenient location with ample parking. We were served two appetizers of stuffed olives, nuggets, fried mozzarella, and potato croquettes. We ordered pizzas and appetizers together, and our pizzas were served after an hour's wait. I'd say the wait was a bit excessive for four pizzas, which didn't arrive at the same time, but within 5 minutes of each other. My partner's pizza was frozen, and the zucchini flowers were inedible (bitter), probably because they hadn't been cleaned properly. Half the pizza was left, but the rest was acceptable.

24/08/2025: And like every year, when you pass by here it is obligatory to stop at this place... where they make a fabulous pizza... with pevron and anciue... which we love... the risotto with mushrooms is also good... beautiful place and very kind and nice Roberta... see you next time.

23/08/2025: The restaurant was recommended to us and we decided to make a reservation. The place isn't for everyone given the unique nature of the road, but anyone who's in the area is certainly familiar with mountain roads and shouldn't have any problems. In any case, the place is truly enchanting, and I plan to return for a full stay of a few days... the restaurant is located in a very characteristic and meticulously maintained mountain hut. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The dishes are traditional and plentiful. The wines are quality, and the craft beers are also worth trying (because of the drive, I had to opt for a good amber beer with a lower alcohol content than the wines available). An unforgettable experience and highly recommended. The prices are fair.

04/09/2025: I went for dinner. From a wide selection of traditional cuisine and pizzas, I opted for a pizza. It was good, with high crusts and excellent toppings. The staff was courteous and friendly. A good place for a simple dinner.

07/08/2025: We had dinner one evening with friends. The pizzas were delicious, and so were the desserts. It's a simple, fairly large place. Welcoming, with friendly staff.

22/08/2025: We had a delicious pizza after a day of riding. The service was very prompt, friendly, cheerful, and spoke good English. To finish, we had the homemade tiramisu.

19/08/2025: Unfortunately, my review isn't positive. I ordered takeout pizzas. They were delivered 35 minutes late. We ordered six pizzas and only five were delivered. The pizza was cold, so it wasn't good. No answer on the phone after countless calls during the wait. For the record, we were refunded the money for the missing pizza, plus an extra charge.

17/08/2025: Excellent lunch at a good price. The host and waitress were temperamental but still very kind and friendly. We'll be back!

15/08/2025: We arrived at 2:30 PM for coffee and ice cream, as it was specified that it was the only bar in the area. As soon as the lady saw us, she said there was no ice cream and that the bar was closed because she didn't have time. (It's a shame there were only two tables occupied inside.) It's a shame because the new gnome forest is definitely worth a visit, especially with children, but if there aren't any "polite" services, it's obvious that people would prefer to go elsewhere.

21/07/2025: Il locale è curatissimo ed è un piacere per la vista prima che per il gusto. Carta dei vini profonda e ricercata. Cucina ottima, servizio veloce e impeccabile, oltre che sorridente.

01/07/2025: Abbiamo trascorso un breve week end nella splendida Val Maira. Una valle forse meno esplorata ma ricchissima di storia e tradizione. In ogni angolo ho ritrovato dettagli di un passato prezioso. Siamo stati ospiti della Locanda Lou Pitavin. La locanda è INCANTEVOLE. I proprietari hanno svolto un lavoro di recupero accurato e rispettoso. Ogni dettaglio è davvero eccezionale dalla stanza di lettura, alle sale destinate a pranzi, cene e colazioni. Il calore, l'eleganza informale, il profumo del legno, pervadono tutti gli spazi. Anche il giardino esterno con piante aromatiche, rose, fiori e il prato curatissimo, invitano alle passeggiate scalzi. E naturalmente la colazione e la cena servite con una mise en place conviviale e distinta. Le portate della tradizione sono di livello eccelso e servite in maniera impeccabile. Ottima carta dei vini. Tutto il personale è gentilissimo e attento. Noi abbiamo pernottato nelle camere condivise "Ensemo", posto tappa per le passeggiate. Le camere condivise sono spaziose, molto pulite e i bagni (uno in ogni camera) grandi e ben congegnati. Anche i prodotti per il messi a disposizione, sapone e shampo, profumano di pulito e di montagna. Mi sfugge qualcosa? Non ho visto le camere dei piani superiori ma sono certa che non tradirebbero le aspettative

30/07/2025: Dopo esserci stati per cinque volte continuiamo ad esprimere la nostra soddisfazione per il trattamento ricevuto. Ogni volta restiamo colpiti dalla genuinità, varietà e quantità delle diverse portate. Il tutto preparato da una persona che ha molta cura e passione per la cucina. Questo avviene in un ambiente molto piacevole accompagnato dalla gentilezza e cordialità del signor Gio e dalla abilità della sempre sorridente ragazza di sala. In piu, essendo celiaca, voglio rifare i miei complimenti alla signora badessa che grazie alla sua conoscenza e attenzione riesce sempre prepare quasi ogni piatto in versione glutenfree, cosa che non è per niente facile e soprattutto molto rara. Che dire?? GRAZIE! E alla prossima!
