The rustic atmosphere is meticulously maintained, and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always available to recommend dishes and wines. Traditional cuisine is made with quality ingredients and features interesting, innovative pairings. The tasting menu is highly recommended, a great way to truly savor the restaurant's offerings. Definitely try the veal with tuna sauce and the ravioli with brown stock.

15/08/2026: While staying in Cherasco, we decided to dine at Pane e Vino. Luckily, the evening allowed us to sit outside in the beautiful internal garden. The menu offers classic Langhe dishes and some fish variations. We started with the classic tajarin with 30 red wines and Bra sausage ragù, which thrilled us with the aroma of cloves. The snails are a specialty of Cherasco, but the dish that surprised us the most was the baked Cuneo pepper with veal tongue, bagnet verde, and bagnet russ... extraordinary 🤩. Flavio, the owner, was an engaging host and, after listening to our wine requests, recommended a Verduno from the Castello di Verduno winery, which absolutely won us over. Pane e Vino is a place that reflects the Langhe traditions with a pinch of innovation that makes the difference. Well done 👏

24/08/2026: Surprising. The panoramic terrace is a real wow factor, but that's not the surprising thing. In fact, you expect it in Castiglione Falletto, and the promises are kept. What's surprising is the chef's bold, high-quality cuisine—something you'd never expect in the Langhe, unlike the view. Honorable mention goes to the "Pastificio Mancini" Fusillone, cooked in tomato extract and raw meatballs, and the grilled goat, nettles, wild garlic, and lemon. The wine list offers excellent selections. Perfect service: professional, friendly, and makes you feel at home. Prices are in line.

The food was deliciois, the hosts (3 brothers who after having worked abroad for years came back home and set up this restaurant 20 years ago), the chef who brings the delicious and authentic flavors of Piedmontese cuisine executed to perfection, all in effortless and authentic style of true Italian hospitality… the ambience is not for Instagram posts but rather for true enjoyement of the flavors and authentic atmosphere. Simply: a hidden gem that elevates the traditional trattoria into an art form, as the chef masterfully delivers an explosion of authentic, unforgettable flavors. Thank you and we will be back!

19/08/2026: Beautiful place. I found the menu quite expensive, both for the price and the content: €185.00. 3 tajarin, veal with tuna sauce, and another appetizer, 2 glasses of wine, and two sorbets. The place is beautiful.

Anyone who enjoys Piedmontese cuisine will feel right at home here. We've been here several times and are always delighted. Being a guest at Christian's is always a pleasure...
