Worth a trip on its own. Allesandro and his brothers do a fantastic job. Spectacular food starting with gambero rosso, moving on to pasta with morels and green asparagus, then over to gnocchi with lobster and more asparagus 🥳😋😋. Awesome wine paring with outstanding wines by the glass. Finishing off with their signature Gianduia. Don't miss a glass of their own bubbly La Coccinella Special Cuveè MarcoAlberto before and after the meal 🥂🥂. Stayed the night at La Luce delle Colline nearby. Also really nice. So much looking forward to next visit. Area is beautiful. Once again, thanks for hosting me.

Really special experience with the affable Alessandro. We were told this was a wonderful restaurant but that, simply, isn't enough of a compliment to the quality on display! I enquired by email explaining we had a disabled daughter and 2 dogs, who we really didn't want to expose to the baking temperatures in the back of our car. Alessandro assured us he'd sort something which, true to his word, meant him allowing the dogs to accompany us inside the restaurant. That was so refreshing and welcome and we found him to be a really friendly host. I even think Brain, our mad Daschund, liked him which is unusual 🤔. Not so his colleague, who Brian thought might be very tasty! All our meals were truly exceptional. A culinary masterpiece on several plates, each one surpassing the one before. I've eaten a lot of meals in my 63 years and would definitely rate the whole ensemble in the top 5. We feel lucky to have eaten such magnificent food in a friendly, hospitable surroundings with such attentive staff. Cannot commend La Coccinella highly enough. Please don't miss out if you're within a couple of hours of Serravalle Langhe.

This is more than an excellent restaurant. It is a fantastic restaurant - Here's why - 1- The food is diverse, authentic and amazing 2- The atmosphere is warm and welcoming 3 3- The restaurant is owned and run by three brothers all of whom are incredibly gracious, welcoming and nice. This in my wife’s view and mine is better than a Michelin 3 star because you feel at home eating wonderful food surrounded by amazing hosts. The service was courteous and prompt, but I didn't think the food was up to par with the location and price. It was definitely a decent experience, but I expected more.

An excellent lunch,. We are on a cycling holiday and after the first 38 km it was such a delight to find this lovely trattoria. Scallops, white asparagus and crayfish with a glass of Nebbiolo. So were ready for the next stage
