The pleasant surprise of a sumptuous homemade strawberry sorbet, as well as bread, breadsticks, and focaccia.
The team, led by the owner, is excellent.

We traditionally meet at Zuavo for Christmas and Easter. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they reserve a space for six people, two of whom are over 90. It feels like home.
The staff is friendly and professional, and very kind in explaining the menu (which they always send us two weeks before lunch).
The appetizers are always excellent, original, beautifully plated with meticulous care. The first courses are excellent, as are the second courses, not to mention the desserts. The menus are different every year, carefully curated and adapted, even for our ninety-year-old wife who has food sensitivities.
Excellent wine list, excellent value.

Last night, Friday, March 6th, I returned to Zuavo in Cuneo after 20 years, and it was fantastic!
Delicious food, a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. Quality ingredients, carefully prepared and truly tasty dishes. The atmosphere is authentic and well-kept, welcoming without being formal. The staff is extremely kind and attentive, and the service is impeccable.
The price was absolutely right for what we ate.
A wonderful experience: for me, it's undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the province today. 🍷👏
