28/08/2025: The atmosphere is a bit retro... the area where it is located is not too nice.... Tasting menu with a choice of 2 types of wine €60 per person. Very well-prepared dishes but in my opinion with questionable combinations. Starter: prawn salad with peaches🤨 with fennel, apple and orange salad🙄. The first course was excellent, the fried food was a bit rubbery but overall I have to say it's a good place.

23/01/2026: Excellent experience at Panda in Ovada! I visited Panda Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Ovada and had a truly excellent experience. The all-you-can-eat menu offers excellent value: carefully prepared, beautifully presented dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. The selection is extensive, both for Japanese and Chinese cuisine, with quality sushi and hot dishes that are always tasty and well-balanced. Despite the all-you-can-eat menu, the attention to preparation and service never wavers. The staff is friendly and helpful, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. It's a place you'll want to return to, especially since the quality remains high from start to finish. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants of its kind in the area. Highly recommended! 🍣🥢

04/01/2026: We had lunch, ordering quickly and easily, and the dishes arrived just as quickly, perfectly cooked and prepared. The sushi was very good: fresh, made to order, and varied. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming.

05/12/2025: Tried for dinner on December 4, 2025. The restaurant is on two floors (you eat on the first floor, however), very elegant, with soft lighting and perhaps a bit too loud in the background music. Very friendly staff, quick service (there were only two tables occupied), and an à la carte menu featuring exclusively meat (which is also on display in the dry-curing room) divided into appetizers, tartare, two types of burgers, and various cuts of varying quality. A word of advice: if you order a rib-eye steak, for example, the price shown on the menu is per pound; the minimum order weight is about 6 ounces, one of which must be boned (as stated by the wait staff). I personally ordered a plate of fried porcini mushrooms, a Tomashawks burger, and the oriental tartare, all excellent. The price is in line with other steakhouses, but it depends on the type of meat you choose.

25/12/2025: We went for Christmas lunch and were very disappointed. First of all, I told them there would be a vegetarian at the table, but they hadn't noted it, so when we arrived, the appetizer was with cured meats, tartare, and shrimp. They changed it, but they did bring some hummus, two mini packaged veggie burgers, and a small piece of parmesan. Among the first courses, there were artichoke ravioli with artichoke sauce, but the ravioli were stuffed with meat. Luckily, they had offered mezzelune di magro (measured in a thin layer of walnut sauce). The second course was fried artichokes that never arrived, potatoes from the day before mixed with those grown that day, and dry bread cut from the day before. Not to mention that for the vegetarian, they only had a cheese board made at the last minute. The icing on the cake came when we got the bill. The four of us spent €280, but the menu says €60, so €240 in total. When we asked for clarification, we were told they made a mistake and that the price was €70 per person, which I find very unfair because it was their mistake, not mine. Overall, a very negative experience; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Following the review, I was contacted, and the owner acknowledged the error on the bill and refunded me. I have no complaints about the honesty and fairness, which were greatly appreciated.

22/03/2026: We stayed one night at this property with a package that included dinner, breakfast, and a spa. We wish we could have stayed a week. The location is beautiful, secluded, and quiet, giving you the feeling of relaxing in the open air. The spa is a decent size, yet fairly dispersed, which means there aren't too many people gathering there. In fact, we explored it on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning without having to give up a few laps due to the crowds. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. We purchased the wine bath separately, which we recommend. The dinner was EXCELLENT; our package included two courses of your choice from the menu, a bottle of wine, water, and coffee. Everything was truly excellent, compliments to the kitchen and the extremely kind and helpful waiter. The rooms and apartments are in a retro vintage style, renovated but with a timeless feel—you either like it or you don't. The first room we were offered didn't quite fit our expectations, but when we mentioned it, the staff was super kind and understanding and provided us with a perfect room. Both rooms were extremely clean and had all the amenities. We will definitely return to Agriturismo Ca San Sebastiano and their wonderful spa. A big thank you to all the staff.

02/02/2026: A splendid bar with Genoese wood paneling from the 1920s. Inside, time has stood still for decades. The service is friendly and engaging. They'll share local stories and curiosities if you want to interact with them. They offer extraordinary homemade Baci di Dama, as well as delicious amaretti biscuits and a fine selection of wines from Gavi cellars at reasonable prices.
