Tenuta Montebello In Rocca grimalda

We'd stayed there a few years ago, but booked a room. This time, however, only the cabins were available, so we tried them out. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you need. It was also very clean. However, it might be more suitable for a family, especially since it's located in a quiet and peaceful area, a bit removed from the main building and accessible by car or on foot via a short path through the vineyards. However, I have some recommendations: the toiletries are listed but are almost non-existent (dispensers would have been fine), there's little storage for bags and/or suitcases, and even in the rooms there are spaces like bedside tables, but they're not very functional. I would have liked a sink in the same room as the toilet. These are small points, but I think they would make the stay even better! The property is very beautiful and perfect for relaxing and unwinding in peace: suitable for both couples and families, and more! Surrounded by vineyards, nature, and fruit trees, with paths that are also accessible on foot. The property also features a very large swimming pool overlooking the vineyards, with loungers and umbrellas! We also added breakfast, which was perhaps a little pricey, but it offered a variety of choices for all tastes. From sweet to savory, there were yogurt, fruit, and genuine, unpackaged cakes. I would have liked something more typical of the area, but having breakfast outside surrounded by tranquility was an integral part of the peaceful and tranquil experience! The property is also a winery, and we purchased some excellent wine, and there's also a restaurant on site where you can have lunch and/or dinner featuring typical local products. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful! We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here overnight before a cruise from Genoa. A very nice agriturismo. Quiet and idyllic location. Plenty of parking available. Friendly staff. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. We had a very good meal in the restaurant in the evening, and the prices were reasonable. There's also a pool. Highly recommended; we would definitely stay there again.

A great place to rest time on the Winehouse farm, very close of the town, very calm, around a green space.

Great place to stop when travelling south. Rooms are spacious and extremely clean and well equipped. Restaurant was brilliant all home made and with the on site produced red wine made for a great evening. Overall excellent value for money :)

I stayed at this property for the May 2026 Alpine Rally in Genoa. The estate is spectacular, surrounded by vineyards. I was captivated by these bungalows immersed in the greenery, fully equipped and with an outdoor veranda, which I think would be perfect in the summer. There's an outdoor pool, they produce excellent wine, and the owners are wonderful people. The food is top-notch. I'll definitely be back. 👍

Simple, peaceful rooms in a lovely setting amidst the vineyards. A warm welcome. A delicious restaurant. We loved it and highly recommend it.
