Oak Barrel In Alessandria

I went there last night for the first time, a place I discovered by word of mouth. The food and service were good, and it's also convenient to get there, as it's located opposite the Moccagatta stadium.

Last night we went to this pub, we are regulars at Al Rock (its twin brother) and we have always had a good time, but we insisted on trying it and we had a great time, wonderful atmosphere, beautiful place and knowledgeable staff.. we will definitely be back!!

Nice place where you can enjoy delicious dishes, the meat is good and the themed evenings are very cool.

All good, a little pricey (like almost everywhere these days) but worth it. We had a Spanish-themed dinner and left feeling absolutely bursting. Highly recommended.

A customer for over ten years, the service is excellent and fast, thanks to the kind, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and this is reflected in the finished product, thanks also to the excellent kitchen staff. The space is well-organized; you can find a seat in the gin corner, in the main room, or in the cartoon-themed section at the back, which is light and not overbearing. The menu is constantly updated and offers dishes for all tastes, ages, and dietary requirements, superior to most similar establishments. Finally, given our passion for gin, you'll find a wide variety, especially ideal for accompanying desserts and showcasing the product. There's still a lot more to say, but it should be enough to convince you to at least try it. Whether you return is up to you. Parking is available nearby on the street, or there's a large free parking lot 5 minutes away.

The afternoon snack was top notch. Plus, an excellent selection of gin, rum, and super desserts!

An old-school pub, with a large wooden bar and small wooden tables surrounded by bottles and other themed ornaments. In my opinion, one of the best places in Alessandria right now. The food is plentiful and the beer selection is excellent. The only two drawbacks are: remember to book, otherwise you won't get a seat, and when it's quiet, service can be quite slow. Prices are fair and in line with the area average. Worth a try!
