Ya Xiang Lou In Milano

For my birthday, I decided to celebrate with friends by going to Chinese food. I have to say, this restaurant was fantastic! We had a table of 13 people, and the food was truly excellent, one of the best I've had in Milan. The staff was truly kind and helpful, and at the end of the evening, they even gave me a bottle of prosecco for my birthday, which I truly appreciated. I recommend it to anyone looking for great Chinese food!

The staff and owner are kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's a shame that, with the place practically empty, they forced us to sit at a narrow corner table, which made it difficult to fit all the dishes in, forcing us to eat quickly or dump everything on our plates to make room. If you like them, the edamame (soybeans) are truly excellent; they're cooked on the spot and therefore incredibly fresh. The other dishes aren't bad either, except for the excessive soy sauce. We ordered a steamed sea bream, and it arrived so immersed in soy that it almost became broth.... Instead, they might consider offering the sauce on the side and letting the customer decide how much, because it ends up covering up every other flavor. Overall, the products are fresh, and if they're frozen, it's clearly indicated on the menu. The large portions come at a price, and the prices are significantly higher than in the Sarpi area. Finally, the restrooms are spacious and clean, which is always a courtesy.

I went to Ya Xiang Luo with my family for my birthday! It was a pleasant discovery. The dishes we ordered were very well received. You can taste that everything is handmade and with excellent ingredients. We were also very impressed with the atmosphere, which we found very homey and welcoming. The meat noodles and lamian were delicious, as were all the other dishes we ordered. We will definitely be back!

We've been frequenting this Chinese restaurant for many years and have always been satisfied. The Chinese menu is extensive and offers many tasty dishes. The staff is always very friendly and the service is fast.

I've been coming to Ya Xiang Lou for as long as I can remember, and I'm not kidding! For any occasion, from the simplest to the most important, with family, since I was a child, we gather here for a meal that feels like family. The portions are "family style," so very generous, designed to be shared among several people. Even though I know the menu by heart, I admit I often fall back on the same, extraordinary dishes. For example, the ravioli are WITHOUT A DOUBT my favorite in Milan; they make them by hand (I once saw them being prepared for the next day in the dining room!) with top-quality ingredients. Other great classics among the first courses I recommend are the Chinese noodles with grilled meat, the Chinese dumplings, and the soy noodles with spicy meat. Among the second courses, the unmissable dishes are their duck, cooked in any way, or the "swallow's nest," which is chicken and cuttlefish cooked in a nest of fried potatoes. Save room for their caramelized fried fruit! A delight. In short, Ya Xiang Lou is one of my favorite places for good food, with truly friendly and welcoming staff who now recognize me whenever I come in. I couldn't recommend it more!
