25/05/2025: The restaurant has changed management from the historic Giorgio, but the quality has remained exactly the same. A pleasant confirmation and I can say that it is the best pizzeria in the area. Thick pizza, delicious mozzarella and top quality ingredients! Finally... Finally you can book! Truly exceptional, congratulations and we will see each other many times! Ps: now there is only one slice of pizza, normal and abundant no longer exists. Update May 2025: they opened the outdoor area with many outdoor tables, very nice!

10/05/2025: Excellent! A pleasant surprise! We found ourselves booking a table for my birthday, but no one had realized it was a themed restaurant! Which was very good for us since we came with our granddaughters. The second surprise was the food, which we didn't expect to be so good and varied. A super interesting menu in a place with a somewhat so-so decor, certainly appreciated by the little ones. Very attentive service, perhaps almost too much. Well done, bye.

29/04/2025: If you want to enjoy excellent food in an elegant environment with highly qualified staff, you are in the right place. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The bread is also the breadsticks, not recently prepared and left to rise by the chef and I assure you that they are crunchy and truly excellent. If I were to invite friends or relatives to dinner I would have no doubts in my choice. And every time each of us came away satisfied. Thank you Mary

29/05/2025: Non si arrabbino cuochi e camerieri di questo bel ristorante di pesce se non riusciamo a scriverne bene come avremmo sperato di poter fare. Il luogo è accogliente, il servizio è impeccabile, la cantina è favolosa e bisogna anche sottolineare che il pesce è freschissimo, ma... L'esperienza complessiva (o almeno per quanto ci riguarda personalmente avendo ordinato solo piatti provenienti dalla cucina) è stata piuttosto deludente. Lo spaghetto con le vongole alla brace speravamo avesse sentori di affumicato e di brace. Ma di vongole ce ne erano così poche che probabilmente quel sentore si è disperso tra la cucina e il tavolo. Comunque apprezzabile la cottura dello spaghetto. La ceviche di ricciola giapponese con mais e patate dolci non è una ceviche. Meglio chiamarla "dadolata". L'ostrica alla milanese, (bravi, buona idea) ha una dose eccessiva di panatura e condimento che la rendono piuttosto dozzinale al nostro palato di vecchi adepti di Jules Alciatore e arriva al tavolo talmente incandescente che, nell'attesa di poterla mangiare, la poverina cuoce eccessivamente perdendo con la sua umidità anche parte del suo sapore. In bocca 9 parti di pane bruciacchiato e 1 parte di ostrica rinsecolita. Confessiamo che per 16€ ci saremmo pure aspettati nel piatto un paio di ostriche invece che una sola. Per finire. Il delicato sapore del filetto di sogliola al vapore viene completamente annichilito da una salsa "fricassea" che, con aggiunta di asparagi, bietole e gel di borragine, fanno di questo piatto il peggiore della classifica. Forse la sogliola non è il pesce più indicato per questa ambiziosa ricetta. Diciamocelo senza indugi! Per il resto intorno al nostro tavolo gli altri ospiti mugulavano soddisfatti di piacere di fronte ad invitanti plateaux royal e imperial pieni di cruditè non introvabili, ma sicuramente sopraffine.

25/04/2025: We chose the Roman round pizza, very light, thin and super crunchy dough, I couldn't ask for anything better. Varied and refined menu, fresh products. Absolutely worth trying and returning to savor the rest of the menu. Despite the very small room, the owners were able to create a convivial and pleasant atmosphere without being chaotic.

22/05/2025: The pizza is very good: excellent dough and leavening. Maybe a little more salt. The mozzarella in carrozza is also good. We took 3 pizzas, a medium beer, a coke and a water, 2 mozzarella in carrozza and 2 limoncellos. Prompt and very kind service. I would improve the place a little: even a simple pizzeria can be more welcoming.

18/05/2025: Perfect pizza and digested immediately. I will definitely return to try the first and second courses. Welcoming and kind staff. More than adequate expense. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area and wants to eat well.

06/06/2025: Delicious, fresh and seasonal food, with proper service by the owner who has a stake in your meal and experience. Portions not too big, allowing you to enjoy a range of dishes and dessert if you choose, but still quite filling if you have a good appetite. Local-ish wines are available by the half-bottle which is convenient. (We had a tasting choice of the starters (this specific option was not on the menu but offered by the owner), the stuffed ravioli with eggplant, the seared tuna, and the ricotta-cinnamon-orange cake.) No terrace or outdoor eating, but the restaurant has an authentic (not commercial) Italian feel. This is not a touristy kind of place, but the menu has English descriptions below the Italian ones and the owner's English is good enough. Lots of regular locals come here, and the restaurant is featured in the Michelin Guide though their prices are reasonable. Tip: Reserve your meal late in the day or you might find yourself eating alone in the small restaurant which may feel awkward. On a Thursday evening, locals started arriving at 20.00/8pm.

15/04/2025: Disappointing from every point of view. I understand and respect the artistic ambition of the project, but no amount of narrative, light or suggestion can compensate for the lack of taste. The decidedly high expense should guarantee at least a minimum level of gastronomic satisfaction, which in this case was completely lacking. I would have gladly spent that amount for an excellent culinary experience, but that wasn't the case. It's really a shame, also because it takes a certain talent to make forgettable ingredients that, in their everyday simplicity, usually provide pleasure and comfort. Respect for food, especially when working with quality products, should always come before everything else. An experience that, unfortunately, I would not do again.
