03/05/2026: We had Sunday lunch with a couple of friends in the little square in front of the restaurant. Everything was delicious in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. And the cocoa crumble with custard, berries, and lemon thyme...fantastic! A truly beautiful place.

30/05/2026: It's a shame, because I've been a regular customer for the past few years, but this time I was truly disappointed, especially by the owner's attitude. I sat down at the table and my friend ordered a large mint granita for me. It was a completely white granita, without the classic green color. When I tasted it, it tasted anything but mint. I asked the guy behind the counter for an explanation, and he replied in a rather arrogant tone that their granita was artisanal and that the different flavor was due to the absence of "junk" and coloring. Unconvinced, I asked the lady at the cashier for help, explaining that the flavor was so unpleasant it made the granita inedible. After a few minutes, she returned with a glass of clear syrup, telling me that the owner had suggested adding it to the granita. I pointed out that the problem wasn't the intensity of the flavor, but the flavor itself, which didn't even hint at mint. The response was, "I can't do anything about it." At that point, I had to throw away a €4 granita right before their eyes. What struck me wasn't so much the product, which you may or may not like, but the complete lack of customer service. It would have been enough to offer another flavor, replace the product, find a solution, or simply not charge for something that had remained practically intact. Mistakes happen, but indifference to the customer is what makes you lose the desire to return. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to return.

The ambience was warm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal. What truly made the experience special was the owners’ hospitality — they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Service was top-notch from start to finish. A place evocative of times gone by. Located in a kind of oasis, facing the Naviglio Grande, the silence broken only by the rushing water and the rustling of bicycles. Even the view of the chimneys of the Turbigo power plant seems to blend in with the landscape. You can dine under the pergola, in the cool air and with the very kind and attentive staff. Very good food and reasonable prices. I recommend booking, otherwise you risk not being able to eat.
