Every time I come to Milan, this restaurant is a must-visit, a true landmark. I've been going there with my family since I was little, and incredibly, every time it tastes even better! The cuisine is unmissable: you'll find the most iconic dishes of Milanese tradition alongside a few original reinterpretations. You can sense an extraordinary attention to detail and a sourcing of truly excellent producers. The owner Gianni and his son Niccolò make the experience special: their hospitality creates a warm, familiar, and authentic atmosphere. I can only recommend this incredible place to anyone looking to experience the heart of Milan at the table!

Visited Ristorante Nuova Arena for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a classic Milanese neighbourhood restaurant with a relaxed, authentic atmosphere and a dining room full of locals. The menu focuses on traditional Italian dishes and the food felt honest and well executed, with generous portions and good flavour. Service was friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being quite busy. If you’re looking for a casual, traditional place for dinner in Milan rather than something trendy, this is a very solid choice.

So glad we were finally able to have a table here. Wonderful lunch. From the frittata, to the costeletta Milanese and the osso busco, everything was very well cooked and delicious. We will return soon !

I don't usually leave reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to do so to express my gratitude for the truly caring service. When I booked, I had simply asked for a candle on a generic dessert for my mother's birthday; to our great surprise, we were instead served a small, specially prepared cake, presented directly by the manager. A rare, sincere, and much appreciated gesture, especially considering we're not regular customers.

It's me who is thankful, first for your courtesy and second for the special attention to my celiac disease. This traditional location truly makes me feel at home in Milan. The food is truly excellent, congratulations. I ate divinely. The service was very kind, professional, and above all, attentive. I will definitely be back!

Quality Milanese cuisine since 1982. A welcoming, home-style atmosphere. Excellent service and consistently high-quality food. Prices are moderately high but fair. Recommended!
