19/09/2025: I returned to Il Fortino on Via Bligny in Milan with a friend and we were once again truly thrilled! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant evening in a refined yet not too formal setting, whether as a couple or with friends. We started with truly delicious appetizers: I had a fresh and flavorful beef tartare, while my friend chose the tender and beautifully cooked octopus. For main courses, she ordered the classic risotto alla Milanese, which was creamy, authentic, and well-balanced, while I tried the elephant ear, tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable, attentive and kind, without being intrusive. I highly recommend Il Fortino to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Milanese cuisine in an elegant, refined, and original setting. I will definitely be back!

26/09/2025: I loved everything! For the first time in my entire history of eating out, I ate every last crumb of my Caesar salad 😂 The style of the establishment and the menu are similar to tgi-Fridays.

29/09/2025: I relied on the photo of the elephant ear I saw in other reviews; it was exactly what I wanted for lunch. I'm really glad I went because it was truly delicious, not to mention the size—truly gigantic. The staff was super friendly, including Cristian, who applauded me when he saw that only half a lemon was left on my plate. He's a wonderful guy, affable and empathetic with all the customers, brilliant. As soon as I'm back in Milan, I'll be back to try other dishes, including the pizza, but also to meet up with my new friend Cristian. Thank you.

29/09/2025: Food was good and nicely presented, a few worthy mentions include the cuttlefish balls, fig & scallop dish and the risotto. We had the wine pairing which was done nicely, albeit lacked a dessert wine pairing. Service was friendly enough although could have been more attentive.

27/09/2025: We tried the "young forks" dinner: a lovely evening spent at the counter overlooking the kitchen. Attentive service, very good food, a quiet location, and a relaxing atmosphere. Recommended.

11/09/2025: Absolutely poor hospitality and extremely unprofessional. Due to unforseen circumstances, I couldn’t attend my reservation, I had the owner call me 40 minutes after the reservation time and literally get mad at me for not coming to the restaurant. This is not a behaviour to have as a hospitality owner, makes me glad I did not come to this restaurant as this speaks of their service.

06/10/2025: I truly don’t understand how this restaurant has got 4.7 review!it is absolutely a tourist trap. The quality of seafood was terrible and took them one hour and half to bring a simple plate of grilled fish on the table. All other customers in the restaurant were super annoyed as well.a random trattoria serves food with better quality and with lower price. Not recommend at all.

02/10/2025: Honestly no clue how it has 4.7. Service was sluggish but it can be forgiven if the food is great. Seafood was not bad but the pasta with squid was awful, apple tart wasn’t great either. It’s not cheap, either. There are better places

02/10/2025: I found it by chance on Google and it was a delightful discovery... The place is very cute and well-kept. The staff is extremely kind, smiling, friendly, and available to answer any questions. We ordered fish dishes and were satisfied with every course. The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked. The tonnarelli with zucchini flowers and datterino tomatoes with scampi tartare was truly exceptional. I will definitely be back.

18/10/2025: Great little spot to stop and have a beer. A wide selection of beers and good prices. Staff are friendly. Tables outside so you can enjoy some people watching.

13/08/2025: I understand that it's August 13th and that the employees may not feel like working, but a little courtesy would be appreciated given the price of a 33cl glass of beer. When I asked what type of beer it was, I was shown a chalkboard explaining the ingredients. I don't recommend the high prices, and the beer they sell can be found in other places with superior service and courtesy. P.S. When asking for something to eat, 25g packet of crisps for €2.

26/09/2025: A warm welcoming atmosphere, food that expresses generations of love and the heart of delicious Italian flavors artistically presented. Our traveling group of 6 ate here not once but two nights in a row. Thank you Salvatore and family for a wonderful experience! chefs kiss!

25/09/2025: We visited Italy for 10 days with Milan being the last stop before flying back home to the US. What an incredible trip however our experience at La Cometa was by far the highlight of our trip! We stumbled in the first night and we had to go back the next night which was our last night in Italy! Salvatore and his family were amazing hosts, they made us feel welcomed and part of their wonderful and beautiful family! We didn’t even order, we trusted Salvatore enough the 2nd night to choose our menu for all 6 of us and he did not disappoint!!! One of the dishes we had, which I included a picture of, had a pizza crust and seafood with pasta inside, and it was absolutely delicious!!! This is definitely a place you must visit when in Milan because it’s not just a delicious meal it is an awesome experience that you’ll never forget!!! Thank you Salvatore and family!!!
