A restaurant above Como, beautifully appointed and immersed in a tranquil atmosphere, far from the chaos of the city. The private parking is also very convenient. I went for dinner a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to eat on the terrace, which has a truly wow atmosphere. The food is excellent: the menu offers both lakeside specialties and more classic dishes, as well as homemade pasta. And to top it off, the desserts are truly delicious! 😍 The welcome and service were also very friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! ⭐️

Excellent location, both outdoors and indoors....good dishes, small inconvenience with the ordering that made the second course quite late, profusely apologised with the free gift of one of the two bottles of wine taken....definitely to return

A charming place just steps from the heart of Como. The food was divine and the price was right! Congratulations on the excellent wine list and the truly unique and delicious menu. Very friendly staff. The perfect place to celebrate an anniversary, a romantic evening, or simply to eat well in a very quiet and relaxing setting.

We returned after a good 45 years... and it was definitely worth it! What can I say? Everything was excellent: good food, friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and has a wonderful outdoor space. Despite the heat, the many trees make it truly delightful. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Dinner with my wife, we really liked everything very much: from the environment suitable for both couples and groups (without losing its character after the victory of four restaurants), to the welcome, through the service and obviously the food. The dish "alla faccia di Diana" is highly recommended.

Dinner with friends at a restaurant that truly won us over. The beef tartare with peaches was exquisite, balanced, and surprising. The cocoa pappardelle is a delicious dish, original yet simple and clean in flavor. The desserts are finger-licking good, carefully crafted and delicious. The manager's attention to the ingredients is clearly evident: refined dishes, yet with a naturalness that makes them immediate and enjoyable. We've arranged for a regular reunion with friends, partly because the manager loves changing the menu, making each visit a new experience. A place worth visiting for its quality, care, and creativity.

We came to this location on the recommendation of friends, a quiet place, in the city but away from the noise, a well-kept historic location, traditional but quality cuisine, excellent wine list with particular attention to local wines, kind and helpful staff, absolutely recommended.

10/08/2026: I planned my wedding at La Madonnina restaurant. The venue speaks for itself...superlative. The organization, thanks to Debora's contribution, was impeccable. Nothing was left to chance, and she guided me through the countless tasks that go into this immense machine. As for the food, I let my guests decide...and everyone agreed it was delicious. A special thanks goes to Gaia and Debora: they supported, pampered, and guided us from day one with infinite patience, disarming availability, and an attention to detail that always made us feel safe. They turned our every wish into reality, handling everything with a smile and impeccable professionalism. ​(A little tip for future spouses: remember to book the room for getting ready within the venue well in advance! It's a very convenient service, but since it's in high demand, you risk not finding it available.) ​And what about the food? Simply fabulous! Special praise goes to the chef and the entire kitchen team: the dishes were not only beautiful to look at, but of exceptional quality, rich in flavor, and capable of captivating the palates of all our guests (no exceptions!). 14/05/2026: If you want to eat really good polenta or TOC, you absolutely must go to Chalet Gabriele. I've been going for at least 30 years, and everything is always delicious, with incredible value for money.
