The food was a little disappointing, we have eaten much better in the past

5 stars because I can't give 6. It's a place from another era, where you stay and eat very well without too many frills. we hope to return soon!

That’s the perfect meal to have when craving for proper homemade Italian food. First, the Italian gentlemen assist my husband with the parking situation since it was our first time driving in Italy. Then, a very cozy house where we got served some amazing food, good wine, and the best pannacotta I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend, and wish to come back many many times.

Authentic Italian cuisine. After climbing for about 20 minutes and reaching this restaurant, the reception, service and food are heaven on earth! Very tasty!

Trattoria accogliente, dall'aria tradizionale, con una gradevole saletta interna e un ampio dehors. La strada sul davanti offre sufficiente spazio per il parcheggio e una bella vista sul lago e sul massiccio del Ghisallo. Il servizio è stato amichevole, improntato alla semplicità, come ci si può aspettare in un borgo lombardo. Abbiamo lasciato che a scegliere il menu fosse la signora che si occupava della sala e non ci siamo pentiti. Il pasto è stato decisamente completo, a partire da un calice di bianco "sporcato" con il Campari. Dopo un antipasto tiepido molto saporito, abbiamo gustato uno splendido risotto al pesce persico. A seguire, polenta concia servita con paiolo di rame e mestolo di legno, abbinata a un tenerissimo stracotto di cinghiale. Per chiudere, tiramisù e Braulio. Il rosso della casa ha degnamente accompagnato il tutto. Il conto è stato adeguato alla qualità e quantità delle portate. Si vedano le foto per avere un'idea dell'atmosfera.
