17/03/2026: I arrive at Como for work in the morning and usually stop by for a coffee and a croissant. Normally I order at the counter, but this time the staff let me order at a table, which was great. As for the cappuccino today, there was so much foam that there was hardly any coffee in the cup, which wasn't the case before. I think I might need to find a different cafe next time.

12/04/2026: I ordered a fruit cake for six people in the morning and picked it up in the late afternoon. The lady at the counter delivered it to me already sealed in the package. I paid €42!! I got home and, upon opening the package, I realized that instead of a classic fruit cake made with shortcrust pastry, it was made only with sponge cake! I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT! €42 for a cake that was worth €15! Fruit cake is made with SHORTCRUST PASTRY! Never again!

23/05/2026: Star-studded risotto!!!! Congratulations for the quality and flavor of both the radicchio and walnut risotto and the apple and pecorino risotto...superb flavor. The quality of the fish and meat was excellent. The staff was super welcoming and attentive...Highly recommended.

09/05/2026: - Although we had a table reservation, we had to vacate it after an hour. The reason given was that she had told me so on the phone, but that wasn't the case at all. - The food is okay, but nothing special. - You can tell the staff are under pressure and stressed, so we won't be coming back.

20/05/2026: The hotel is ideally located, with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The owner and staff are very attentive. Excellent breakfast with a magnificent view.

19/05/2026: We are staying there in 2 days but must review now on service. I just called them to have the different rooms described and the lady on the phone was very nice and I must say patient with me since I always ask too many questions. Looking forward to our stay.

24/05/2026: A fantastic find! The restaurant is ideally located on the church square, where children can play safely. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. And the food... absolutely delicious. The meals are truly flavorful, homemade, a real gem! I especially loved the grilled beef. This little restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

11/05/2026: We were there yesterday for a communion lunch. We had arranged to eat outside in that beautiful little square, but unfortunately the weather didn't permit it, but they set up a magnificent square table for us in a room all to ourselves. The welcome was perfect, the staff were extremely kind, and the lunch was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for making my grandson's day so special.

17/01/2026: In my experience, the place is very poorly organized. To get a dish, you have to wait about 10 minutes... I arrived at 12:00 and left at 1:46. An hour and a half for exactly 7 dishes... I don't recommend it.

07/01/2026: The service was disappointing and slow, starting with the fact that you can only order three dishes per person, but only if you order them directly from the waitress. We also had to ask several times to order the next portion, and each time the waitress called her colleague to take the order. Relatively fast, but the first round of dishes arrived cold. The quality wasn't excellent, and the menu itself included many dishes that cost extra, which are included in the dinner price, and it wasn't always clear that the dish had an extra cost (we went for a holiday lunch). In the end, we didn't eat much, and the quality wasn't great. There was a long wait to order, then a wait for the dishes we'd ordered, and then another wait for the waitress to arrive to take the next round of orders. Not to mention the tables were dirty and caked on at 12:30.

19/10/2025: The place is nice and quiet, the waiters are very respectful Lebanese, and the food is impeccable. I highly recommend it, I've been there twice and each time is better than the last.

19/10/2025: Saturday evening dinner. Almost two hours of waiting for our dishes. Dry meat. Left to our own devices. Nonexistent service. Despite the fairly positive reviews, we felt like a makeshift place with insufficient and poorly trained staff, though still absolutely courteous. Too bad, the nearly 50 km drive to try the restaurant wasn't worth it, and it made a bad impression on my guests.

26/04/2026: I come to Coccodè Cream once every year or two. The guys are always super nice, no complaints about that 👍 This time, however, I was a little disappointed: I ordered a berry sundae and it arrived with the ice cream and cream practically melted together (maybe it had been ready for a while). I might have understood this if the place had been busy, but at that time there were only three people sitting at three tables. Also, the fruit was very limited: a few pieces of strawberry, blueberry, and a blackberry, all sitting at the bottom of the glass. The €8.50 price tag is fair, but for that price I expect a more carefully prepared sundae with a larger amount of fruit. I hope it was just a bad day, because the place deserves it and definitely has greater potential.

21/01/2026: Good morning, I'd like to report the barista's lack of hygiene. I stopped for breakfast, ordering a coffee and a croissant, when I noticed that the barista picked up the croissant with her hands without using the proper utensils (tongs or napkins), and that she was touching the money, without washing her hands between orders, despite having a Band-Aid on her finger. I also notified a local police officer who was outside on duty for the schools.

30/12/2025: Went there after the lunch time to get something warm to fight the cold weather and, altho the place was essentially empty apart from owners, they welcomed us in where most other places were closed. Two quite big sheltered areas with tables, and nice warm drinks/snacks available at very affordable prices.

28/11/2025: An experience I recommend to everyone! As I already said in my previous experience, I'm truly surprised it doesn't have a Michelin star as a seal of approval for the care, service, and food I received.

07/04/2026: First experience at the "Il Gatto Nero" restaurant; fresh, refined food, and generous portions. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly, polite, and available to answer any questions. We had lunch on the terrace, with a breathtaking view of Lake Como. Parking is available nearby, but not very large. The restaurant is also suitable for families with children. Recommended.

05/05/2026: This was our second visit – unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Our first visit was positive, but this time we were disappointed. Charging an additional €50 per person for spa access on top of an overnight price of over €200 felt exorbitant. We expected more from a resort of this caliber. Dinner also failed to impress. The Angus burger sounded promising but was a letdown: the meat was coarsely chopped, lumpy, and anything but tender. It simply wasn't worth the price. We were particularly disappointed with how our feedback was handled. We politely informed the staff that the food didn't meet our expectations, but received no real response. No explanation, no alternative, no replacement, no apology. In the end, we were left with a hefty bill and a disappointing experience. In our opinion, the pictures speak for themselves. We'll leave it to the community to decide whether the price and quality are in line. As guests of the resort, we would have appreciated at least a little more attention, goodwill, and appreciation.

02/05/2026: I spent one night at this beautiful property, staying in a Deluxe room. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with truly high-quality products. We also had dinner at the property's restaurant, and what can I say? Everything was truly top-notch, including the service and friendliness of all the staff. The spa experience was very relaxing and enjoyable, and the outdoor pool on the upper solarium was an added bonus. I highly recommend this experience, and I'll definitely repeat it.
