08/03/2026: Friendly staff and reasonable prices...

18/02/2026: Today I had two coffees and two pieces of focaccia for a total of €16. Plus, four Chiacchere (typical Italian dishes) for €1 each. It seems really excessive. Plus, the welcome was truly embarrassing. Negative.

29/11/2025: We ate today at this super cozy and totally untouristy place. The pizzas are delicious, with generous slices, great prices, and very friendly service. We highly recommend it.

23/11/2025: Very nice historic place. Four of us had dinner, ordering a first course each, three desserts, and a bottle of wine. We spent just under €40 each, which was too much for the quality of the food. My linguine with clams dish was flavorless; even though I tried hard, I couldn't taste the clams at all; they seemed fake. Given how much they charge for the dishes, the ingredients should be top-quality, and that's not the case. The risotto wasn't cooked properly and wasn't creamy. It's a shame because the place is truly very characteristic.

08/03/2026: Terrible service. I was on a table with my partner and my mom, and the lady didn’t let her get a cone ice cream, she made her go to the take away line. In the meantime, we got two espressos and the ice cream. The lady in the ice cream take away counter told her she couldn’t go to the table, which does not make sense at all, especially when we were already consuming at the table, and we were already blocking the table. Not satisfied, another lady came and told her she couldn’t be there. My mom is aged woman with leg issues and on top of getting up to stay in the line, they wanted her to consume her ice cream outside when there was more than enough space in the table, and no new customers were going to sit there. And I understand that they charge more for the service, we wouldn’t mind to pay more. The lady only agreed to let her stay there because I wouldn’t stop arguing, and she just wanted me to stay quiet. When we left we saw a kid having a cone at a table as well, I don’t understand why they had a specific issue with us. On top of that, the ice cream is not THAT good. It is ok, we had better ones in the Como region, definitely not worth coming there.

05/04/2026: Tourist trap: a ravioli dish for €22 for 12 ravioli, that's €1.60 per ravioli. Lamb chop with 80% fat. Pure robbery. Cover charge of €3.50 per person. Portions very small for the price.

10/03/2026: They don't accept debit card payments for bus passes even though they're required to, and in the end, the customer loses out by not being able to get a refund on their 730 tax return. Rather, eliminate the service if you can't afford the bank fees.

07/04/2026: First experience at the "Il Gatto Nero" restaurant; fresh, refined food, and generous portions. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly, polite, and available to answer any questions. We had lunch on the terrace, with a breathtaking view of Lake Como. Parking is available nearby, but not very large. The restaurant is also suitable for families with children. Recommended.

04/04/2026: There are limited first and second course choices. For two plates of tagliata for €25 each and a simple soup for €15, with a €3 cover charge per person, we didn't get any bread and had to ask three times for it.

02/04/2026: We went to this trattoria and ordered pizza. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us. The pizzas seemed rather uninspired – the dough was only mediocre, and the toppings were also quite average, lacking any particular quality or depth of flavor. Overall, we didn't get the impression of experiencing an authentic Italian pizzeria. The restaurant was rather empty during our visit, which was partly due to the fact that we arrived relatively early. It was noticeable that the food was served extremely quickly – which, in our opinion, was also reflected in the quality. We found the ambiance cold and uninviting. Additionally, there was construction work going on in the background, which significantly detracted from the atmosphere and didn't exactly encourage lingering. On the positive side, the service was excellent: both the staff and the owner were friendly and attentive. While the prices are rather low, we felt the value for money was still not there, as the quality of the food was disappointing. The food was not up to par. Overall, unfortunately not a place we would return to for a cozy meal.

01/03/2026: Positive experience in this 4-star hotel... I stayed for work and slept really well. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. Slippers and a toothbrush were included, as well as an interactive TV. 👍🏻 The shower is huge, and it's my favorite thing about a room, especially after returning from a day of work. Then there are the hotel's amenities, like the aperitif bar, with a really nice young blonde woman, and the breakfast room in the morning. The elevator takes you directly to the underground parking. Overall, I couldn't find any flaws. Well done. 👍🏻

03/02/2026: The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Autostrada dei Laghi, yet the rooms are quiet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The property is very well-maintained; both the reception area and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is also excellent. I will definitely return. This is my third time staying here, and I'm really happy with everything... Congratulations to all the staff.

03/03/2026: One of my favorite sushi restaurants. Small but carefully prepared portions, so you can order multiple times and experiment. Great customer service; knowing we booked with a small child, they reserved a smaller room for us to make us more comfortable. Fresh fish, excellent fried food, fair prices. Highly recommended!

11/04/2026: Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. I returned after a while and the situation was the same: the BBQ chicken was excellent, the beer was good, and the service was still a bit slow, but I still recommend it.

26/12/2025: I cannot recommend this hotel. My room (3/4) is unrenovated. The positive reviews are incomprehensible. We had dinner and breakfast there, completely overpriced. A ghost in the form of a woman haunts the place; her dress looks like a rag, and her face would scare anyone in a haunted house. Her legs are wrapped open, she's wearing shoes straight out of the 1950s, and this is the woman who serves breakfast. It's enough to make you want to run away. Italy has beautiful women, and I get stuck with this dragon. The proximity to the lake doesn't justify the hotel's prices. The male chef did the best job. No motorcycle garage. September 13, 1924, will go down in history as the coldest day of the century, and it started at breakfast. Only the coffee was excellent, as is typical in Italy.

02/12/2025: A beautiful osteria in the center of Como. Excellent value, very friendly staff, and delicious food. The polenta dishes are highly recommended; they're delicious and creamy. The ossobuco with polenta and the braised beef with polenta are highly recommended. Definitely worth a try! I'll definitely be back.
