16/02/2025: On the way back from Como we stopped in Appiano Gentile at the best baker in the whole area. In reality we went there in search of the "Nuvola", a leavened product in the shape of a trunk that Mr Giuseppe makes in a divine way. It's true that we could have bought it in Como where this dessert was born but the one here is unsurpassed. Unfortunately we arrived late and unfortunately the "Clouds" were already all over.

19/07/2025: Too bad, folks... Since the change in management, the family-friendly exchanges and mutual trust have evaporated! Plastic plates and poor quality, even for bottled wines!! What's left is a decadent, carelessly managed wok... and put a smile on your face. "It would be helpful." There's work to be done, gentlemen.

16/06/2025: Among the best steak houses in the province... Sashi off the menu (too bad we weren't told; we noticed when we left). Florentine meal of rubia gallega. Excellent wine list, even if the markup is significant and the wine list needs updating.

15/06/2025: Location & food top-notch...Dessert: The warm pistachio muffin with a liquid center was divine. The only thing missing was the limoncello offered by the restaurant 😉.

21/07/2025: Be very careful. Do not pay cash! He scammed me. I had to pay 114 euro's. I gave him TWO 50 euro notes and one 20 euro note. He went back inside and it took him about 2 minutes to return and show me only one note of 50 and one of 20. He insisted i only gave him one 50 euro not. I had 4 notes in my wallet. After i gave him another one. Just one was left in my wallet. My son saw me give him two also. He is a scammer. Service and food was great. And i even tipped. And than being scammed. We could have eaten there many more times that week. Ofcourse we did NOT.

23/04/2025: Andiamo spesso in questo ristorante, pizza di qualità, ingredienti ottimi, super buono l impasto multicereali, leggero e leggermente croccante! Ottimi anche i piatto di cucina, in particolare fritto misto e risotto con pesce persico. Prezzi davvero ottimi! Personale sempre gentile e sorridente! Ambiente accogliente! Sempre consigliato!

21/04/2025: Siamo andati con amici tutti prendono la pizza xché è molto buona anche l'impasto ai cereali croccante e sottile prezzi non bassi ma nella norma, il locale è molto bello con le lucine ovunque soft e anche romantico se non fosse per il chiacchierare della gente Ciao, Silvia

25/05/2025: Pizza tipo napoletana con abbina Enti di ingredienti non usuali. Pizza in padellino tipo al trancio, più alta e soffice molto particolare, buonissima la carbonara. Opportunamente hanno anche il vino della casa. Dolce speciale anche da vedere. Conto onesto, in linea con l'alta qualità. Locazione fin troppo elegante.

17/05/2025: Ho assaggiato la pizza al padellino. Esecuzione superlativa, leggera, croccante. Le proposte, che variano di tanto in tanto, erano interessanti ma forse un po' carenti. Quella sera ce ne erano di solo 4 gusti dove 3 (su 4) erano pizze bianche. Le ho provate tutte un po' passandoci i piatti e devo dire che la Cantabrica (l'unica rossa in effetti) era speciale! Buone anche quella con Tartare e quella con Lardo e Tartufo. Secondo me un po' squilibrata la Carbonara dove il salato del guanciale appoggiato sopra, e il resto, la rendevano un po' pesante. Prezzi medio/alti ma più che onesti per la tipologia di proposta offerta. Ci tornerò per provarle altri gusti!

24/04/2025: My trusted pizzeria forever and ever. I have celiac disease and I can really enjoy a delicious pizza from them in complete safety. They are also always very kind, so much so that from time to time we stop to eat directly there at the pizzeria and they are all nice. We feel right at home. Excellent gluten free and normal pizza. Thank you for existing and feeding us celiacs and our neighbors. ♥️

20/07/2025: It's good restaurant etiquette not to keep a customer waiting excessively. It's good restaurant etiquette to apologize if you've kept a customer waiting excessively. In a nearly empty restaurant, we waited 20 minutes to order and a full hour to be served (after a couple of reminders). No apology from anyone. When it came time to pay, we asked for at least a discount on the total bill. On €86, we were offered a €6 discount. Will we return? Will we recommend it to friends and family? No.

07/08/2025: I expected a slightly more rustic atmosphere and slightly lower prices. The food is very fresh and the staff is friendly, but since the location isn't on the lake, I expected the prices to be a little lower... I ate there anyway.

25/07/2025: Our family dined here last night without a reservation, during heavy rain. Despite the weather, the restaurant didn’t open doors until exactly 7 PM and offered no shelter beforehand. We were seated by the entrance—supposedly the only available table—but no other tables were occupied during our entire meal. The head waiter was curt and dismissive when we asked questions, which made the experience feel unwelcome. While a bread basket was provided as complimentary, it came without oil or accompaniments—apparently standard in Como. When we requested chili flakes, only salt and pepper were offered, with no further explanation. Portions were modest but expensive and the food was average. They did serve a complimentary appetizer (a dip with crackers) and dessert (a fruit cake or white chocolate), which was a nice gesture. This restaurant is positioned as a fine dining experience, but great food alone isn’t enough—it’s the people who make it memorable, and unfortunately, that was missing here.

24/07/2025: Overpriced average food. You can’t order antipasti to share, which is a big let down. No parmesan cheese offered for the pasta, no olive oil for the bread. €30/main course. There are many better places around with better food and more reasonable prices.

10/08/2025: Rude, disorganized, and incredibly long wait times. Not recommended.

09/08/2025: Terrible, the mussels were not clean and green, the pasta was 2 days old, terrible, I would say never again
