Por favor sube las escaleras a esta plaza y tendrás los mejores pasteles y capuchino. Tuvimos una larga charla con el dueño porque visitó nuestro país en el pasado, CUBA. Él estaba tan emocionado de compartir su historia familiar e incluso recibimos una postal de 100 años de esta tienda. Grazie.

08/04/2025: Mountain restaurant at the top of Monte Bisbino, the polenta and the pizzoccheri are to die for, they fill you with energy to continue with the excursion.

06/04/2025: Very typical restaurant at the top of the Bisbino, excellent pizzoccheri. On a negative note, upon requesting a slice of Zola I was told that they only serve the cheese plate, which seems absurd to me.

18/01/2025: With my partner we take it away on Saturday evening (in the name of Mauri). Very good and a clean and tidy environment. Furthermore, the pizza is neither too thick nor too thin, I would say the mozzarella is perfect and excellent. Even the girl who answers for the orders are always kind, polite and it's not something to be taken for granted

04/03/2025: Excellent food, very nice and comfortable, the environment was wonderful, the open kitchen was also excellent, the service was also excellent, we were welcomed by chef Luigi and guided in this culinary and sensorial experience. We also received the plate of good memories to jealously guard.

16/02/2025: Disappointing experience: mediocre quality at an exaggerated price I went to this restaurant for a special dinner and chose the 7-course tasting menu, convinced that I would have a gastronomic experience worthy of the asking price. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The dishes were simple and lacked creativity in flavours. I expected a refined balance and a technique capable of surprising, but instead I found myself eating dishes that I could have found in any average restaurant on the lake, without any justification for the disproportionate cost. To accompany dinner, we took a bottle of sparkling wine, the price of which was justified (around 40). On the advice of the owner, we added two glasses of (I'm pretty sure) Nebbiolo di Traversa, paid €36, a figure decidedly disproportionate compared to the perceived quality and real cost of the bottle. What's more, the bottle they came from was already open. To complete the bill, two bottles of sparkling water for €12, another detail that makes you think. I would like to point out that I am a winemaker and I have drunk many bottles. I know how to recognize when a wine has a justified price and when customers are being taken advantage of. And in this case, the mark-up on the glasses was decidedly out of proportion. Note of merit on the glass dedicated to Nebbiolo, a blown Italesse. For the sparkling wine, a Bormioli printed with the restaurant's silk-screen printing. The service, courteous and attentive, did not make up for the disappointment of the cuisine. The final bill was excessive compared to the quality of the experience. It's not enough to serve well to justify certain prices: at these levels we demand substance, not just aesthetics. Unfortunately, an experience that I will not repeat and that I do not recommend to those looking for a real tasting experience with a good quality-price ratio on the lake. Total €310

11/04/2025: I gave 1 star because I was unable to give 0. Hospitality = terrible Environment = terrible Food = there are bars that offer much better food. Tasteless croissants, burnt coffee. Just go a little further down and there are excellent bars. Not recommended.

17/03/2025: Pretty bar in a little court just tucked away from Cantù main square. Quite loud on a Saturday evening with the match on, but also peaceful with its outdoor seats.

Ci fanno accomodare in un ampio locale, rustico ed accogliente dove, a pranzo, viene servito un menu’ fisso (€40 a persona) che comprende: antipasto, 2 primi, 2 secondi, dolce, caffè + 1 bottiglia di vino e acqua minerale . Che dire? Prodotti a km. 0, cucinati sapientemente e ben presentati con l’attenzione e cortesia del personale! Consiglio vivamente la visita!!!

10/03/2025: We celebrated with relatives a double birthday of two differently young people aged 85 and 87. Excellent organization right from the planning of the event, refreshments based on desserts plentiful, varied and delicious. There was really variety for all tastes, including me who have celiac disease for whom they also prepared a slice of dessert suitable for my intolerances. Cakes that are beautiful to look at, fresh and delicious. Nice, clean and well heated room. A special thank you to Rossella for her availability, hospitality, kindness and competence. Thanks also to Stanley who served us with discretion, kindness and professionalism. Everyone was thrilled. We really felt at home. Thank you!

07/03/2025: Fresh and young location for organizing events of any kind. Staff attentive to responding to needs and capable of personalizing the experience truly ad hoc. We felt at home :-)
