Bar Motta in Argegno is an institution. Fabio, Dario, and Moreno are very kind and attentive to their customers. I love going there very early in the morning for breakfast (the cappuccino is made to perfection and you can find the best croissants in the area—those from Milly dei Lagolosi in Torriggia) when it's a mix of local residents, cross-border commuters, workers coming to earn their day's wages, fishermen, and tourists. We chat about this and that, maybe a laugh, and the day starts off in the best possible way. The prices are very fair, and when I leave, I can see my lake at dawn in beautiful Argegno. During the day, the place is a destination for weekenders, and in the evening it offers excellent aperitifs. The cellar is stocked with excellent wines. In short, for breakfast, appetizers, and aperitifs, Bar Motta is the best in the area. Kudos to the owners.

Excellent place for breakfast, aperitifs, and lunch/dinner (bruschetta, sandwiches, pizza, roast beef, tartare, etc.). Friendly service and good value. Perfect location: right on the lake!

Stopped in for post dinner drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The mixologist made my wife a top tier French 75. And they introduced us to a series of delicious Grappas.

I had a four-cheese pizza with fries from them and it was delicious. You should definitely visit if you're nearby; it's very nice and I highly recommend it.

When traveling, especially abroad, and you find your perfect neighborhood place, it feels like home. While in Argegno for several days, Bar Motta became our regular. From cappuccinos in the morning to appertivo time in the afternoon, we felt ourselves drawn to this little gem! The staff were friendly and gracious and we happy to suggest local wines and provided exceptional service. We will truly miss this place when we go home!

Authentic and super friendly Bar. Great food, great drinks and great music, too.

We've had aperitifs there several times. They offer a superb local wine, "Brigante," in both white and red. The servers are friendly, pleasant, and professional. The platters that accompany the drinks are truly varied, generous, and delicious! A wonderful discovery, thank you!
