24/07/2024: Incuriosito dalle recensioni positive, ho voluto toccare con mano. Cucina particolare, molto gustosa con un ottimo abbinamento dei sapori. Personale molto piu che cortese, ti mette a tuo agio eti descrive con molta gentilezza ed accuratezza ogni piatto. Porzioni decisamente abbondanti. Peccato non aver potuto assaggiare tutto.

19/08/2024: The drinks are great, the food less so. The passion for coffee can be felt. It can be felt in the air, it can be felt in the preparations by the staff and it can be felt in the cups. The coffee macchiato is excellent, as is the cappuccino. I can't wait to return to enjoy the different varieties of coffee. But the banana bread needs to be reviewed, given that it felt like a brick both to bite and to the stomach, as well as having a taste that was far too mild, almost non-existent. In short, in complete contrast to the quality of the coffee, as well as that of the place itself. The interiors, in fact, relax the eyes and give warm vibrations. Maybe even too much, given that there was no exchange of air, and in the long run the stop was becoming almost suffocating for a summer afternoon. However, I appreciate that the place was also open on Sunday, during a holiday weekend.

04/08/2024: I give 5 stars to Locanda di Fabio and Vale, something I rarely do because I believe that perfection does not exist and there is always room for improvement, but Fabio deserves them all. It was a real surprise, capable of arousing unique emotions at every course. The venue is elegant but minimal, a perfect combination that creates a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The owner, truly helpful, stands out for his passion and competence, always ready to explain each dish with details that enrich the culinary experience. Each course is a real journey for the taste buds: it is the first time that in a restaurant I have not found any defects in any dish and that every bite gives me positive sensations. The prices are adequate and allow you to return often, a great advantage compared to other places of equal quality. The presentation of the dishes and the culinary technique are decidedly superior to many more renowned restaurants in the area. Among the specialties, the Melburne trout and plin are spectacular, but the octopus also deserves a special mention. The care in preparation and the use of the highest quality raw materials really make the difference. In conclusion, the Locanda di Fabio e Vale is a place that I highly recommend for those looking for a highly experienced gastronomic experience enjoying refined dishes both in terms of raw materials and technique.

14/07/2024: I always really appreciate such willing guys! Certainly raw materials sought among the excellence, I'm sorry about the "Milf" (Fabio will understand the scope I'm referring to). A place where you can go on a tasting journey a couple of times a year! If I have to make two notes, I would add a couple of fine Proseccos to the wine list, and I would add a split to go down a few degrees in the room, unfortunately the July climate doesn't help. Last thing, a couple of choices in desserts for those who are lactose intolerant, a tart made with lactose-free material would be enough. We will definitely be back!!!! Well done!!

11/08/2024: I arrived with high expectations, considering the membership of the Michelin guide and the numerous awards, but unfortunately the reality was disappointing. The bread, which was the first taste, was truly mediocre, foreshadowing the rest of the experience. The appetizers were acceptable, but nothing memorable. The meat, although good, was served to us after waiting almost an hour, which was far too long. The side dishes turned out to be terrible, and the dessert also didn't leave a good impression. In summary, despite the quality of the meat, the overall experience does not justify the trip from Milan.

11/08/2024: Excellent dinner with a friend in this hidden restaurant on the outskirts of Milan. The quality of the meat and the selection offered are excellent. Although we had asked for slightly thicker slices to be cut, we were not satisfied and they cut our Fiorentina into slices that were too thin, probably for plating purposes: the risk is that the meat would cool down and that the customer would not leave fully satisfied. The selection of craft beers is too limited, although the only two offered and tasted were good. The desserts and side dishes are excellent. The place is very well looked after and the staff are friendly, however the prices are a little too high, despite the excellent overall quality.

17/08/2024: Since hardly anything was open around 11 a.m. in the morning, we decided to have a little snack at Jollibee. Compared to fast food chains from home like McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, etc., this fast food restaurant was a real highlight. The quality of the chicken burger, especially the meat, was so outstanding that you momentarily forgot you were in a fast food restaurant. In fact, it was unusual to actually be full for a few hours. In Germany you go to McDonald's and are usually hungry again after 2 hours. Absolutely recommended!

11/08/2024: Japanese restaurant.. what they brought us was very good but compared to other similar quality restaurants we paid a little more (eating similar things)... I don't know if I will return to dine there again..

09/08/2024: Yoji abandoned ship, but it certainly didn't sink! Excellent from every point of view, the only flaw: little choice of wines and not up to par with the food, which is truly excellent and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money. Must try! Small update: quality still high but a bit lower, just as the prices have risen. I remove a star.

30/07/2024: you can't give less than three for the quality, the excellent food but this terrible habit of giving such poor first courses becomes tedious for those who want to fill themselves up. it boasts of giving you 80/110 grams of pappardelle, a portion worthy of a person recovering from the flu. better on the latter. he is friendly and approachable but tends too much to prompt customers when ordering dishes and doesn't realize that his wallet doesn't always allow it (I speak for myself and I wasn't alone at the table...), it can cause embarrassment. in any case it is a true Tuscan, not like some found in the Pavia area which are from Lodi, the quality is certainly to be rewarded.
