20/07/2025: Bonito restaurante en el que hemos estado muchas veces y quedamos muy satisfechos. Lo mismo pasó esta vez. Tomamos pasta como entrada caccio e Pepe y 2 filetes uno australiano bastante caro wagyu y ribeye de Argentina. Todo muy sabroso. Solo Tiramisu al final no fue tan bueno. En general una buena experiencia, de nuevo.

26/06/2025: Evening ruined by an oversight, it can happen accidentally for goodness sake, but after all they could have avoided charging... after 20 minutes we were already home.

A simple, unpretentious place, where you'll find authentic flavors, the kind you'd expect at Nonna Lombarda's. Balanced dishes, generous portions, and a special welcome. All nestled in the heart of the Navigli district.

14/06/2025: A dinner in a welcoming environment without having booked..... ended up here by chance, with the humid heat that could be felt outside, entering we felt pleasure...... Curiosity made us wait a little longer even if it was the right time to know what to choose from the menu.... I can't tell you the face of my wife when she saw that the fish wasn't even a touch present on the menu🫣 The nice thing however is that in the end ... between appetizer and grilled vegetables she came out well too🥳 The undersigned in addition to helping .Ollie enjoyed the low temperature cooked suckling pig. The rosé that accompanied us in the truly exceptional dinner. Thanks to the staff.

08/06/2025: For our last gastronomic investigation, Watson and I move to Cuggiono where on the banks of the Ticino and inside the park of the same name is the restaurant of the Salis twins: the place is worth a visit for the beauty of the surrounding nature; a nature trail also starts from here. The place is of a certain importance and well-kept. We are welcomed by a large number of young waiters, one of whom accompanies us to our table, booked in advance and already supplied with 2 entrées: a bavarois with rocket and sweet and sour Tropea onions. We decide on the tasting menu that offers us numerous courses of appetizers including cold cuts, fried gnocchi, veal with tuna sauce, courgette flowers, Venere rice with vegetables, etc. For the first course, creamed cheese risotto and beetroot crepes. Roast suckling pig with potatoes is the king of the second course while a melon semifreddo and a coffee conclude the evening. With 2 bottles of mineral water and one of Carmignano del Sulcis 2024 Tre torri from the Santadi winery we spend (unbelievable, but true) € 50 per person. The only flaw of the place is that it is also appreciated by families with small children (who certainly feel at ease given the beautiful garden) and therefore it is understandably a bit noisy. A warning to couples with children: Ticino is just a stone's throw away, maximum attention! In any case, a place to try also for the generosity of the portions.

15/07/2025: Probably the best Italian food we’ve ever had. The pasta was unbelievably fresh and the flavour profiles were both unique and masterfully made. HIGHLY recommended! The wine selection was excellent as well and the server did so well accommodating our jet-lagged children.

14/07/2025: Heerlijk gegeten! Dit restaurant ligt iets buiten het centrum van Como maar het is zeker het bezoeken waard! Laat je niet afschrikken door de buitenkant want eenmaal binnen is er een fijne sfeer. Goed personeel en heerlijk eten. Zeker een aanrader!

The owners, Angelo and Fabio, keep alive the traditions of solidarity, help, and availability that have always characterized mountain people. They demonstrated this to me in practice, thanks also to an extensive network of contacts that goes unnoticed but is there when needed. Thank you.

17/06/2025: We went to the Curò refuge after witnessing the spectacular opening of the Serio waterfalls. From the waterfalls you follow the stony path to the refuge, two hours of walking, and you arrive at 1915 m above sea level. The lunch of typical dishes and polenta repays the effort made to get there. I know that you can also sleep but I have no information about it.

20/07/2025: I spent an evening with my family at this restaurant and I can say it was a truly wonderful experience. We enjoyed seafood dishes, all very fresh and carefully prepared: every course was delicious. The pasta was also excellent; my daughter chose the risotto, which she loved. The staff was extremely kind, attentive to our requests, and made us feel at home, making the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, high-quality dishes, and impeccable service!

18/07/2025: I often visit this restaurant in San Donato Milanese. It serves both fish and meat with great quality and presentation. The service is always perfect and very professional, the tables are spaced apart, and the wine list is top-notch. Parking, medium-high prices, but worth it. Upgrade in quality and service. Superb Catalana, soft and tasty lobster with cherry tomatoes and Tropea onions. High-quality olive oil. The Lugana Ca dei Frati wine, 0.375, is excellent. Ample parking.

20/07/2025: Welcomed by the beautiful town of Bormio, we stopped at the café bar La Piazzetta, a wonderful experience.... They kindly seated us outside, and thanks to the gorgeous day, the experience was truly perfect. The spritz and non-alcoholic aperitif were excellent, and the appetizers were delicious. The interior was beautifully decorated, everything was clean, tidy, and well-kept. The smile of the lady who gave me the bill was priceless. Well done. Very well done.

28/07/2025: Mi esposa y yo celebramos una cena especial de luna de miel en Ristorante Orestino después de pasar el día en el lago de Como en julio de 2025. Esto fue hacia el final de nuestro viaje, pero como la suerte resultaría que dejamos nuestra comida favorita para el final. En primer lugar, la comida de la boloñesa tagliatelle, pasta de trufa y branzino al tiramisú y limoncello se prepararon, presentaron y probaron increíblemente. El ambiente era elegante pero pintoresco. Nos sentimos como los huéspedes y el personal nos abrazaron cálidamente a pesar de que hablábamos Italiano limitado y no éramos uno de los habituales, que IT parecía que había varios. ¡Y por una buena razón! Un restaurante verdaderamente imprescindible - parada en Lecco.
