Authentic Milanese cuisine, with flavorful and carefully crafted dishes: the risotto alla Milanese is truly excellent, and you can clearly taste the attention to quality ingredients and respect for tradition.
A place I recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for lunch or dinner in a pleasant, welcoming environment with kind, attentive staff. I'll definitely be back!

18/04/2026: How much does it cost? It's hard to give an opinion. Meat is a costly raw material. Specialty meats cost more. If you order a salad, chicken breast, and water, you can probably get by for €20, but if you want 1.5kg of a particularly fine cut and enjoy an appetizer, coffee, etc., I'd say it's definitely more than €60-70 per person (but at least). Wine aside, of course.

08/04/2026: A lovely, characteristic Valsassina restaurant with large windows overlooking the greenery and the sports center opposite. A warm, welcoming atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Typical Tuscan Val di Chiana dishes, well-prepared, a good selection of wines, prompt, friendly, and courteous service. Clean surroundings. Prices are reasonable. Reservations recommended. First time here, but definitely worth a visit!

28/02/2026: Putting ingredients on a plate is not cooking, they don’t know how to cook meat - both beef and chicken - and sides are barely acceptable. Service is not knowledgeable i.e.: “Do you want your chicken medium, well done, or how?” Are you kidding me? It’s not a cheap street place either, so you definitely don’t get what you pay for.

There were a lot of us, and they didn't even make us wait for the pizzas; they arrived very quickly. It was truly excellent service in every way. We hope to return.

Are the comments here from people who know how to cook? I'm starting to doubt it. If, however, this is a business lunch and you only spend €30, well, three stars are fine.

Visited on Saturday evening: the place was packed, the atmosphere chic and welcoming. The service was attentive and professional, despite the crowds. The menu is well-curated, with excellent options for those seeking gluten-free or lactose-free dishes—a highly appreciated rarity. The dishes were elegantly presented, with attention to detail. A perfect choice for a special evening in Varese. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant also offers cured meats, cheeses, and traditional Tuscan dishes, including Florentine steak. We love coming back often.
