21/03/2024: Unfortunately, my experience at Thai Cafe in Como was extremely disappointing. Although the food was acceptable, the service was extremely poor and unfriendly. The person in charge of the room seemed constantly annoyed and unhelpful, which contributed to making the atmosphere even more unpleasant.
The main issue was the mysterious disappearance of my wallet inside the venue, with the staff showing little interest in offering assistance. This episode is unacceptable and has significantly undermined my confidence in the restaurant.
During my stay, I also witnessed highly questionable behavior: the room manager filled glass bottles with water from small half-liter bottles, then closed them and presumably sold them to customers. The bottles that were served to us were open and without corks, raising strong doubts about the transparency and ethics of the place.
Prices are high for the amount of food served and the experience mentioned above. However, they are clearly displayed both on the menu and online.
I would also like to specify that I have already initiated the relevant reports and complaints regarding the incident. I sincerely hope that Thai Cafe Como takes corrective action as soon as possible, in order to ensure a safe and ethical environment for all future customers. The restaurant also has my contact details in case my wallet reappears with them or for other explanations where necessary.

19/03/2024: After various management changes, I am forced to change my review made 4 years ago.
Regarding the quality of the food, I adjust myself to the after-meal effects in the following hours. Nothing to say about the service or the environment.
But I was dumbfounded at the time of payment: lunch, fresh from a medical visit, weekday. But they made me pay like a HOLIDAY, because they thought Women's Day was a holiday. They will never see me again both for the quality of the food and for the final treatment.

Ogni piatto è cucinato con cura e passione. Ogni ingrediente è di ottima qualità e abbinato agli altri per definire sapori decisi e autentici. Grazie per farci scoprire ogni volta un nuovo gusto ed un nuovo profumo.

03/12/2023: Seconda volta che ci vado e devo purtroppo dire questa volta è stato un disastro.
Locale pieno, una sola persona in sala che prendeva le domande, sparecchiava e faceva cassa, ed una sola persona in cucina.
Abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per la comanda senza neanche almeno avere da bere e per mangiare due portate abbiamo aspettato due ore.
Cibo buono, ma essendo stati serviti per ultimi ci hanno dato una porzione ridotta rispetto alle altre.
Oltretutto le persone arrivate dopo di noi erano già state servite.
Poca organizzazione sia in sala che in cucina....
Dovrebbero mettere in cucina una persona che aiuta ed una in sala.

23/12/2023: Troppo costoso e poca scelta. Il menù presenta pochissime opzioni sia di antipasti che di portate principale e tutte a prezzi esorbitanti. In particolare il “Pad Thai” , il piatto principe della cucina thailandese, si presenta in una sola variante alla non certo modica cifra di 19€! Considerando gli ingredienti che lo compongono , tutti piuttosto poveri come i germogli di soia, arachidi , uova e i 4 gamberi surgelati , risulta un vero e proprio furto. Carissimi anche gli antipasti e gli altri piatti serviti . Il cibo risulta comunque buono seppur non eccezionale. Ristorante molto curato nell’arredo ma non all’altezza del prezzo che chiede.
08/12/2023: We had already been here some time ago, something has changed since then. Maybe just a bad evening, I don't know, but many things didn't correspond to the memory... Dishes forgotten, three things among those requested were not available, dishes not bad but high prices. I don't think I want to go back.

27/08/2023: Sono andato un sabato a pranzo con la famiglia, il ristorante non era nemmeno pieno. Classico all you can eat con scelta dal menù fornito dei tipico piatti caldi e freddi da ristorante di sushi. La qualità del cibo è nella norma, ma il servizio si è dimostrato lentissimo, sono trascorso oltre 20 minuti dall'ordinazione prima che ci portassero la prima portata. E così via, ogni piatto era un'attesa snervante.
