21/03/2024: We filled our hearts and bellies at Da Vittorio! It was a memorable experience that will stay with us for a long time. We were charmed by the food, the ambiance, and what made it the most special were the people. Da Vittorio is the epitome of comforting Italian hospitality and elegance.
We were delighted by the deep care placed into the details of our experience. From when we first checked into the hotel, we felt the warmth of the impeccable service. We were offered a rich and smooth hot chocolate which honored the story of how the owners met. For dinner, the owners greeted us with smiles and warmth that lasted throughout the evening, as he came over and checked on us multiple times. We couldn’t decide between the vegetarian and seafood tasting menu, so he offered us customized courses from both.
Now on to the food, which was incredible! Rooted in the Italian ethos of using simple, seasonal ingredients, the kitchen created refined classics with modern twists. Every dish was a hit. The seafood was so fresh. The langoustine with miso butter, broccoli risotto with shrimp, paccheri in a creamy tomato sauce… all elevated dishes with nuanced flavors and textures that we will be dreaming about.
We loved the tranquil surroundings of the property as well and found it to be the perfect escape from Milan. We appreciated everything about our experience at Da Vittorio. Here — love, family, and food come together to create true magic!

23/03/2024: We tested the menu created for Gourmantico. Excellent raw materials, I managed to make myself appreciate even ingredients that I usually don't like. Some dishes were stratospheric, others were certainly good, but didn't excite me.
Served very kind and welcoming.
Well-kept place.
20/03/2024: Restaurant with one Michelin star. Beautiful experience. Spectacular risotto and delicious desserts. The chef at the end of lunch who passes by the tables to ask how it went was much appreciated.

17/03/2024: Beyond the undoubtedly impressive location with built-in waterfall, everything is truly remarkable and above all COHERENT. The environment conveys a "zen sensation" which is found in every other element: from the food with evident oriental influences (really interesting, tasty and deliciously well plated) to the service (attentive, discreet and fast). It was wonderful to be able to see the chef at work with his team: silent, concentrated and very efficient. The dinner was an infinite indulgence from the mouse bouche to the dessert and the value for money was decidedly good. It's certainly worth it.
09/03/2024: Fantastic location: the glass parquet you see under the cellar and a mill is beautiful. The waterfall is also very beautiful. Wine list to be reviewed unfortunately. The food proposed by the chef was very good, in particular we really liked the gallinell with teriyaki sauce. Instead, we should revisit the dim sums that didn't impress us. All in all a great experience that we recommend!

18/03/2024: That’s was wonderful meal. The food is very delicious. The service here is great, I was welcomed very warmly. The dish was presented very quickly. Price is very reasonable. I brought children, they were a bit mischievous but the staff were very enthusiastic towards them.
17/03/2024: Polarizing as any Italian concept that dares to challenge centuries of tradition Lido 84 from Riccardo and Giancarlo Camanini seeks to reinterpret classic recipes as “food for thought” utilizing old and new techniques.
Housed in a former beach club on Lake Garda guests are invited to dine indoors or on a terrace as weather permits, all while Giancarlo oversees service as warm and informative as any in Europe.
Designed to be enjoyed a la carte or as a tasting, staff communicating with each guest to determine likes and preferences before Riccardo chooses the menu, it is amist modern-classical décor that time passes quickly thanks to stories and reminiscing over bites such as Baccala Cannoli or pudding-soft Foccacina.
Eclectic but distinctly Italian, warm Bread and Grissini flavored with Olives present throughout, late-Winter’s “Fluctuations” begins with a veil of Cuttlefish overlying soft Rice in Eel Butter before moving onward to Oysters perfumed by Pine and Buttered Spaghetti made anything but simple by crispy puffed Yeast.
An admirer of all forms of art, books and statues surrounding a piano overlooking the water, Risotto comes splashed on a white canvas with Red Berries prior to intentionally sticky Pennoni meant to be dipped in an emulsion of Uni.
Lucky next to receive 84-hour steamed Pasta allowed to ferment for a year, its texture quite distinct beneath Foie Gras and Pigeon Ragu, Chard offers a bit of levity before moving onward to faultless Sweetbreads sharing the spotlight with Honey and Mustard.
Known best for Cacio e Pepe cooked in a Pig’s Bladder, a blind method of preparation that leaves Pasta firmer than al dente but beautifully matched to simple toppings, tender Beef comes with accents of Duck Fat and Pork Lard plus the bold skins of Sheep’s Cheese.
Offering each guest a different dessert, on this day Chocolate toasted to taste of Burnt Milk and Caramelized Pears with Pumpkin Seed Praline, those with capacity should inquire about adding a laminated “King Size” Cannoncino perfumed by Moroccan Spices with Apricots.
Always pushing forward, with textures and flavors inspiring questions, the story ends with Torrone clipped tableside and a quick tour further seeking to educate those who already think they understand.

23/03/2024: Returning to the Rosa after some time, excellent experience! Warm welcome and intimate environment as we remembered. I recommend trying the selection of starters "La rosa dei venti", consisting of five fish-based courses, stewed octopus and cod croquettes. Followed by two first courses, of which the fish carbonara is always very tasty. In addition to the menu, I always recommend listening to the off-menu proposals.
We conclude with two desserts (super strawberry cheesecake), a bottle of Vermentino and coffee accompanied by dry pastries at a fair price, you leave full and satisfied! The second courses are also excellent, among the best proposals are turbot with artichokes, grilled octopus and croaker. The goodness of the dishes, the intimate and refined environment and the attention to the customer (in particular the manager's excellent advice and explanations on the menu) confirm La Rosa dei Venti as a high-level restaurant where it is possible to taste high-quality fish . Always a guarantee!

Menu with a "greedy" approach, enlivened by fried proposals or characterized by bold but successful "sea and mountain" combinations. Excellent balance between form and substance, account aligned with location and target. To try!

I read reviews on the quality of the fish where they alluded to doubts about it, well I don't know where you are used to eating but in this restaurant you can feel the quality from the first bite. Highly recommended!!
